Fabulous set up. On arrival the owner met us checked our ID (Covid) and showed us through the gate. Set up on pitch. Yes a very slight slope however we didn't use chocks (nothing slid off the table!). Welcomed to the pub for a delicious meal with drinks. Some very slight road noise but didn't keep any of us up. Easy canal walk to Llangollen. Would definitely recommend and plan to return. Diolch

Excellent food ( hand cut chips) we phoned ahead as we pulled onto the carpark a staff member came out and met us opened the gate and showed us where to pitch a really nice welcome dog friendly pub

Stayed overnight on the 24/02/2020. Friendly staff, customers and very friendly pub dog. Excellent food, great value and generous portions. They have a section of the grounds put aside for several campervans on a flat hard standing. No camping facilities at present but the owner said they are planning to have some installed in the future (toilets, electric hook up). Would highly recommend

Lovely stop over, stayed for three nights. Pub is very dog friendly, staff and food excellent. Nice walk along the canal to Trevor basin and walk over the aqueduct. The chapel tea room at Trevor is dog friendly.

We stayed here in October for two nights. At 29 feet probably as large as practicable to get onto a pitch. The owner and staff were great as was the food and ales. Will certainly be back

Excellent stop over! The owner and staff at the pub are very friendly and welcoming and the food is great and very reasonably priced too! Had a lovely easy walk with the dog into Llangollen along the canal which is situated just opposite the pub. Walked 2 miles the opposite way along the canal the following morning to visit the Aquaduct. There were 3 other vans in the car park when we stayed but not too crowded. Owner is currently carrying out work at the site and has plans to extend and offer electric hookup too! Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area ?

What a great place, really good idea. Good pub grub at reasonable prices. Huge portions. Bays well marked now, I needed my chocks to level but no big deal. Staff friendly and seems quite.

Good views, welcoming pub with good food at reasonable price. Lovely canal walk to Llangollen . Bit sloping and bit of road noise but good nights sleep will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay with some nice views the food in the pub is great and all the staff are friendly and very accommodating we stayed here for 2 night and would definitely visit again!!

Nice elevated spot with dedicated Motorhome / Campervan parking, nice views across the valley, enough space for 4 or 5 vans. Site slopes so if your van is like our coach built you’ll probably need levelling chocks. Some road noise from below, but not too bad. Free to stopover providing you eat in the pub. My only opinion to improve the experience would be If the site owner could level the site slightly better & mark out actual bays then this would be an absolutely perfect stop.
