Muddy and very little cover from the road and weather

Fantastically quiet and level park up, even if a good few miles into up the hill and into the forest. Would stay again at the drop of a hat. No bins or amenities so please keep it clean and tidy. Fee is £7 between 6pm until 10am the next day, well worth it. Space for 2

Lovely quiet spot. Inn at muckart down the roads is super friendly for kids and dogs if you wanna avoid washing up. Fish was the size of a whale. Plenty dog walks around too. Handy for heading north.

Really friendly rangers came to greet us after we parked up. They made sure we had everything we needed including any extra bin bags etc. Really quiet. A great night stay.

Great drive to this location with lots of Forestry walks. Would definitely come to this area again on a clear dry day. Didn’t stay the night as small area and a little close to the road. Plus as mentioned no signal.

  • 4/5

Good spot. Quiet but no signal.

Arrived late at night, only van here, nice and quiet and on even ground. Lovely wee spot to park up for the night

  • 3/5

beautiful spot, 3 vans max, no reception or internet service,

  • 4/5

Quiet out of the way stop off we used while travelling through the area. Lots of deer on the road if travelling at night. Flat, clean and in some lovely woodland. Broadslaps Farm shop worth a visit for breakfast/cake

This car park is called Tonguey Faulds. Its remote, quite flat, could be muddy, no signs seen to say you can't overnight here. I would recommend.

  • 4/5

    Great place dark and peaceful.

  • 5/5

One of the best stopover places around this area. Road a little narrow, but fine if you take your time, also allow others to pass etc. Lovely peaceful spot. Thankful of this app, would not know about this place otherwise. Will return, if traveling around this area in the future. left no trace, picked other uncaring peoples rubbish up. The ones who do stay overnight, most of us do care etc.

The pin took us to a layby called Tonugey Faulds forestry car park. We arrived late at night and overnight parking allowed. So quiet and pitch black. Good Spot and just off the road.

  • 5/5

Very quiet, well off the road

  • 3/5

Good sized flat parking on very quiet road. All other spots around here have private road signs or no over night parking
