Great place to stay close to the fjord. There are 6 spots close to the toilets and many more a bit further away. The toilets are clean and open all night. From 7:30AM the trucks start passing to the nearby quarry. Overall it’s still a great place and free. I wonder why people choose the paid parking for 170 NOK which is just 3 minutes away.

Super für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise und einen ausgiebigen Spaziergang am Fjordt entlang. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht.

Außer den 5 (tagsüber gut von PKW belegten) Plätzen kann man auch seitlich der Wartespuren der Föhre parken. Hier potenziell (!) ca. 15 weitere Plätze. Toiletten sehr gepflegt. Über die Fußgängerbrücke ist man in 1 Min. bei den Duschen des Kajakzentrums und der Tankstelle (jeweils eine pro Geschlecht, nicht ganz so gepflegt, aber benutzbar.) Warum also 170 NOK auf dem Nachbarplatz zahlen?

Parking space right next to the ferry landing. Pleasantly surprised - clean restrooms right next to it, and a great pizza / coffee space opened 9-9. Additional spots nearby at the ferry parking. Very quiet in the night, starts to get noisy around 8am.

Cute little spot next to the ferry terminal but the toilets are currently all closed. Place gets busy when ferries are arriving

Kleiner Parkplatz direkt am Fähranleger mit sauberen Toiletten. Es ist nicht der schönste Platz aber super wenn man wie wir um 9:00 Uhr mit der Fähre nach Kaupanger fahren möchte. Die Fährfahrt mit Van (bis 6m) und insgesamt 2 E und 1Baby kostet 122€. Eine gute Alternative für einen reinen Fjordcruise.

Perfecto para dormir. Sin ruidos ni tráfico, aunque hay que decir que ha sido la noche de viernes a sábado y supongo que no se trabaja en fin de semana. Los aseos del puerto, perfectos, como casi todos los de Noruega. En la cafetería de enfrente hay pan, dulces y una pequeña tienda.

Bruyant tard le soir et tôt le matin car il y a des travaux. Cepandant, le lieux dépanne bien pour aller faire de la randonnée dans le fyord et ne pas payer de camping car les endroits gratuits sont rares dans ce secteur.

Wir standen hier letzte Nacht Megaruhig, keine LKW - lag vielleicht auch daran, daß es Wochenende war. Es gibt eine kleine Bäckerei, direkt am Fähranleger.

We stayed here last night (23/10) as most campsites around seemed to be closed. We were the only ones there but felt safe as we parked between 2 hotels. Toilets were clean and seemed to be open all night. Very quiet until trucks started coming through from 7:30am. Nice walk over the bridge for views, petrol station/shop and Viking Village.

Stayed here October 10th, wonderful views, clean toilets with warm water. However the sound of the rubble trucks loading onto the boat started at 630am and didn’t stop. Lucky we didn’t need a ly-in.

Wir sind erst an dem Platz vorbei gefahren. Dieser befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Toiletten. Ruhiges Plätzchen bis morgen um 7 30 Uhr, bis die ersten LKWs kommen, um Bauschutt zu laden. Zu unserem Zeitpunkt war ca 100 Meter rechts vom stillen Örtchen eine Abbaugrube für Stein

Wir haben gegenüber kurz vor dem Tunnel am Weg nach Bakka gestanden. Sehr schön am Fjord mit Blick auf Fähranleger. Früh morgens starteten Verladearbeiten auf ein Schiff am „Schotterterminal“ nebenan, war zu hören. Weg nach Bakka frei, hier werden Steine/Schotter per LKW angeliefert und auf Schiffe verladen, keine Baustelle.

ahora no se puede aparcar, el sitio está ocupado con maquinaria para las obras de la carretera y empiezan a trabajar por la mañana temprano, hasta que terminen las obras no es buen sitio

Hemos parado a ver la impresionantes vistas merece la pena, tambien hay ferry, eskerrik asko

Lovely spot. Very clean toilets (cleaned twice a day by lovely guy) which is a bonus on some of these smaller P4N spots. Don’t be put off by the look of it as it is quiet at night. Beautiful walk along the fjord on the old Bakka road. Fabulous views.

Incredible valley, hikes, cold swimming, kayak rental, and Viking village (must do). Very fun place to be. The parking area is a car park/waiting area for the ferry so not very fancy, but the cliffs and waterfalls are breathtaking.

Alles vorhanden, ganz netter Platz, jedoch ein wenig eng mit den anderen Fahrzeugen

Parking place just next to the toilets. We stayed for 2 nights ( 7-06 & 8-06). First night with 3 other MH and the second one alone. Busy in the morning because trucks were dropping off rocks 100 meters further, I think for construction work. Free WiFi in the restaurant.

Den Platz gibt es nicht mehr.

Klasse Parkplatz neben dem Trubel und den unglaublich vielen Tagestouristen, die mit vielen Bussen hier ankommen. Von hier aus kann man entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad am Fjord entlang bis nach Bakka wandern oder fahren - neben dem Auto -Tunnel. Da ist man dann ganz allein. Im Moment sind noch Bauarbeiten neben dem Fähranleger. Ob eine Übernachtung ruhig genug ist, haben wir nicht ausprobiert.

Felt safe in one of the six spaces near the toilets. These were great - nice clean and free. Pleasant stroll on lake edge. There was some construction work going on which started at 7am! Also the ferry stayed there all evening making a bit of noise - not sure if that happens every night. So four stars.

Et nydelig sted å tilbringe natten. Vi parkerte på selve kaien. Det var helt stille med flott utsikt mot fjorden. Omgitt av fantastisk natur overnattet vi en natt. Vi kommer nok tilbake.

Much nicer than it first looks. We arrived in the late evening and the construction work was still going on but by bedtime it had stopped. Very peaceful night. Nice area to walk around and explore. Dogs liked it too. Toilets and bins to use.

Dopo la tappa al joker per la doccia dormiamo qui, cantiere alle spalle, un po’ luminoso, ma silenzioso fino alle 8 del mattino dopo. Bagni non profumati ma puliti.

Die Nacht war ruhig. Parkplätze in Ordnung.

Super ! Nous avons pu prendre de l'eau, vidanger, la vue est top, et les toilettes et les douches sont propres, modernes et gratuites ! Merci pour cet endroit. Le seul bémol serait de ne pas vraiment savoir si l'eau est potable ou non, et où vidanger les eaux grises.

Super saubere kostenlose Toiletten direkt nebenan und kostenlose warme Duschen bei der Tankstelle. Einfach top! :)

Nice and for free.. toilets for free as well. close to the Vikings valley and ferry around the fiords.

Gratis parkeerplekken. Ruim genoeg voor een camper van 7m lang. 6 plekken beschikbaar. WC's worden elke ochtend schoongemaakt. Douches zijn beschikbaar en gratis in het tankstation 5 minuten verderop. Rond 7.15 uur beginnen vrachtwagens aan te rijden met stenen en zand. Niet heel hinderlijk. Er zijn diverse restaurants op loopafstand beschikbaar en er is een supermarkt dichtbij. 's Nachts rustig.

There is no parking exactly where this GPS is, but there is parking 25 metres before on the right. There is building work going on where the GPS is located which is quite load. The surface is flat and there are room for many to park. Clean and plumbed in toilets that are free. We crossed a little bridge and had lunch on the water with an amazing view. Not busy, but weren't there at a ferry time

Il semble qu'il y ait des modifications et qu'il ne soit plus possible de stationner à cet endroit. Nous nous sommes rabattus sur un côté du parking de ferry comme d'autres Camping-car et fourgons.

Endroit plutôt calme et toilettes propres.

Pratique, le parking est grand, c'est plat, il y a des poubelles et des toilettes. Par contre très bruyant le matin avec les camions qui passent pour décharger/charger de la pierre juste derrière. Le cadre est chouette. De là, vous pouvez faire la balade de 4km qui longe le fjord pour rejoindre le petit village de Bakka un peu plus loin dans le fjord.

Parking next to ferry, toilets available, around the corner is the shell station with possiblity to shower, shell station also had a supermarket with fresh baked bread and pastries. Good location to spend the night very silent, in the morning starts the traffic again

Handy enough for a stopover. Quiet at night but noisy early morning as busses and lorries go by. Toilets open all night. Used by ferry staff to park their cars so be careful not to piss them off!

Nous nous sommes posés sur le petit parking, 2 camping-cars de 7 m. Aucun problème. Nuit calme. Nous sommes juste en face de l'embarcadère. Il y a des toilettes avec eau chaude, bon endroit juste avant Flam

Zona de aparcamiento del puerto de los ferrys. Aunque la parte central está reservada a autobuses y colas del ferry, hay espacios en los laterales. Personalmente hemos estado a gusto en el lateral derecho, pegado al hotel, bajo los árbolitos. Gudvangen no tiene mucho más, pero lo que hay es agradable. Dormimos mejor de lo esperado. pensábamos que habría más ruido por la mañana.

Der Stellplatz ist ein Parkplatz am Fährhafen. Ob ein Stellplatz frei ist, kommt sehr auf die Zeit des Eintreffens und die Parkplatzsituation an. Toiletten kann man von Fähranleger nutzen. Sehr sauber und jeden Tag gereinigt. Es gibt kein Free-Wifi. Am Morgen wird's laut, da Schüttguttransporter einen Lagerplatz anfahren und die Touristenbusse kommen.
