Absolutely beautiful place to stop even though no services

Great place to stop but would avoid weekends as rally boys have a meet here on Sunday mornings very loud and inconsiderate. They only stayed 2 hrs but that was long enough. Apart from that I would recommend as good cycling and walking in the area, beautiful view and very quiet at night

Nice view but the smell from the lake was terrible, maybe because of the wind. We had to leave ...

Great spot by the reservoir although no access to the water from here. Spent a peaceful night and woke to beautiful views.

We have visited this place 3 times this year with no problem. Road is hardly used by traffic and it’s flat and easy to park. Good cycling around here and you can walk down the right hand side of the river downstream from the dam.
