Excellent spot. Great for the stone circle which does get quite busy. Much quieter after dark. Will definitely park here again.
Bel endroit près d'un site mégalithique. À partir de l'été 2021, il y a des panneaux indiquant l'interdiction de stationner la nuit. Très calme une fois les visiteurs partis. Entouré de moutons !
Beautiful place near a megalithic site. As of Summer 2021 there are jow signs stating no overnight parking. Very calm once the visitors left. Surrounded by sheep!
Schöner Ort in der Nähe einer megalithischen Stätte. Ab Sommer 2021 gibt es Schilder, die darauf hinweisen, dass keine Nachtparkplätze vorhanden sind. Sehr ruhig, als die Besucher gingen. Umgeben von Schafen!

Clawrence22/08/2023Perfecto para visitar el círculo de piedra y Keswick. Pone "No overnight" refiriendose a la zona de hierba, fuera en el parking había 4-5 furgos. Lo único malo es que a las 9h viene la furgo de los helados y se queda ahí con la música muy muy fuerte, claramente para molestar, ya que cuando vio que ibamos saliendo y iendonos la quitó. Hay gente a la que le molestamos sin razón...

Decent park up for the Stone Circle. Plenty of bins around. Didn’t notice any ‘no over night parking’ signs which other reviews have stated, maybe NT changed their mind or someone has ripped them down ? We only stayed here briefly while visiting the stone circles

guter Parkplatz um den Steinkreis zu besuchen. er ist direkt nebenan. zum Schlafen an manchen Stellen auch gut geeignet. einige Stellen sind aber auch schräg, da brauch man dann Keile. wir waren nur für einen kurzen besuch da.

Stayed here numerous times and was saddened to see that the NT had put ‘no overnight’ signs up. I wouldn’t usually stay where there are signs, however this is a public road so I can’t see that it would be enforceable. This is a beautiful stop and the sunrise is out of this world on a clear day over the stone circle

NT put a sign up this morning stating ‘No Overnight Stays’ not sure it they can enforce this as it’s a public highway and not NT land

Lovely spot, flat spots along the side of road. A few campers here overnight with us. Safe location. Lovely view of mountains. Locals park to walk their dog here during day, also a spot to park to visit castle rig so may be busier during day in summer. Very quiet. No toilets here or near by so only 4/5 from the perspective!

Love this spot, have used regularly on travels, proximity to stones and views obvs fab, particularly like that there’s always a few vans about overnight : ))

Have stayed the night a few times on the side of the road here. Plenty of cars arrive to visit the stones but the road itself is a quiet one. Bins on the side of the road so good for getting rid of your rubbish.

Beautiful spot out the way not far from Keswick about a 4 mile walk to town . Neolithic stone circles which you can go up to and touch and climb on . No facility’s but I’m spending the night here

Good pull in and quite level. can be busy during the day but people come and go so spaces become available. good phone signal and 4g(ee). quiet at night.

Please take your rubbish away with you. Not suitable for vans without toilets as there are no facilities and it's just on the road

Lovely place to stay although it can get busy on a sunny summer evening. The stone circle is fantastic and an ice cream van is there during the day which is really nice when you're staying in a van!
