Love this spot, have used regularly on travels, proximity to stones and views obvs fab, particularly like that there’s always a few vans about overnight : ))

Have stayed the night a few times on the side of the road here. Plenty of cars arrive to visit the stones but the road itself is a quiet one. Bins on the side of the road so good for getting rid of your rubbish.

Beautiful spot out the way not far from Keswick about a 4 mile walk to town . Neolithic stone circles which you can go up to and touch and climb on . No facility’s but I’m spending the night here

Good pull in and quite level. can be busy during the day but people come and go so spaces become available. good phone signal and 4g(ee). quiet at night.

Please take your rubbish away with you. Not suitable for vans without toilets as there are no facilities and it's just on the road

Stayed the night after leaving the Skiddaw Path parking spot due to the high winds. Very quiet, with a couple of other vans.

Super spot mais attention de ne pas prendre la petite route transverse. Ça ne passe pas entre les buissons, j'en ai fait la triste expérience

Lovely place to stay although it can get busy on a sunny summer evening. The stone circle is fantastic and an ice cream van is there during the day which is really nice when you're staying in a van!
