À côté d'une route très fréquentée, le bruit de la circulation mais proche de la nature promenades. Le premier parking a beaucoup moins de bruit de circulation. Le fort d'âge de fer de Beacon Hill est accessible d'ici.

Next to a busy road so traffic noise but close to nature walks. The first parking area has a lot less traffic noise. Beacon Hill iron age fort is accessible from here.

Neben einer stark befahrenen Straße, Verkehrslärm, aber in der Nähe der Natur spazieren. Der erste Parkplatz hat viel weniger Verkehrslärm. Das Beacon Hill Iron Age Fort ist von hier aus zugänglich.

Lots of space for our motorhome, only one car there already when we arrived at 10pm. had a goodnight, no interuptions, road noise all night, so if you're a light sleeper it may keep you a wake. stayed untill 10am the next morning didn't see anyone. would stay again.

Ok for a quick free night stopover plenty of space for our 7m LGV campervan . nice green area with trees and fairly flat .cars did come and go til late at night and early morning . thd beacon hill walk was disappointing! i stopped end of june and the walking path was really bad going with sticky slippy wet clay had to abandon the main walk as it was really dangerous underfoot and covering me and my dogs in sticky thick clay (only good if you have wellies or heavy duty walking boots and don’t mind cleaning your dogs after a walk) though it left absolutely nowhere else to walk around there, the only two roads in both directions were ‘private keep out’ with no trespass signs so i was stuck with nowhere to walk my dogs but the car park and picnic area . the traffic from A road was noisy and non stop so we parked in the first parking area away from the road which was near the private stud farm road with what i can only describe as having on their land ‘kennels with a full packs of hunting hounds’ constantly yapping and baying not a nice found at all . i won’t say i would go back unless i had to

Stopped over late one night, car park was empty, lots of space. Had a brief stroll up Beacon Hill to admire the stars. One car showed up around midnight briefly then moved on. Very close to A34 so constant traffic noise. Woken up around 05.30 to baa’ing sheep in the adjacent field.

Handy for a quick stopover after getting off the ferry late. One problem however was having to go back south 2.5 miles to get back on the northbound side. Other than that ok.

We got off the ferry late to travel north but we're too tired to drive so we stayed here for the night, it was fairly noisy especially in the morning but we got a decent sleep. Fine for a nights stay

Perfect stop to rest for the night

Even lower car park noisy and used for fly tipping however walk and views from Beacon Hill make it worth a one night stop
