My advice, don't bother. The entire car park turns into a boy-racers race track, weekday evenings as well. We moved on after counting 15 of them.
Parking gratuit, jour et nuit le long de l'esplanade pour les voitures/camping-cars (d'octobre à mars uniquement - garez-vous sur le parking au sud d'avril à septembre dans 12 baies désignées pour 5 £ avec eau et déchets noirs/gris) également 20 parkings séparés pour personnes handicapées espaces face à la mer. Belle plage de sable, grande pelouse en face avec aire de jeux pour enfants et toilettes. 10 minutes à pied de la ville avec de nombreux magasins, cafés et plats à emporter. Pas d'office de tourisme.
Free parking, day and night along the esplanade for cars/motorhomes (October to March only - park in the car park to the south April to Sept in 12 designated bays for £5 with water and black/grey waste) also 20 separate disable parking spaces facing the sea. Lovely sandy beach, large grass area opposite with children's play park and toilets. 10 minutes walk into town lots of shops, cafes and takeaways. No tourist office.

Hermosa playa de arena, frente a una gran área de césped con parque infantil y baños. A 10 minutos a pie de la ciudad hay muchas tiendas, cafés y comida para llevar. Sin oficina de turismo.

BluePixie23/03/2023Good view of the sea, spacious bays , signs bit misleading , app to pay for overnight BUT.... BOY RACERS. This is their turf & with, from other comments, council & Police fail to enforce the laws & rules, set the precedent here. They use it as a race track, your van is just there as an additional obstacle course. We had no issue as weather atrocious, they were still there. Shame
skeety6210/07/2022we were here on a Saturday night,probably not best idea as beautiful beachfront spot with fantastic views but unfortunately it was spoiled by "boy racers" displaying their fast cars one after the other ,lots of noise and fumes till after 2230. would visit again but not on a summer weekend.

Was there 29/3/2022 . Easy parking on long stretch. Lots of walkers. Great outlook. Would recommend and would use council one without hesitation after 1 /4 /2022

overnight parking April to September is in the council car park only, in 12 large designated bays with fresh water and black/grey waste. overnight parking October to March is on the promenade and side streets and Not in the car park. no facilities other than lots of waste bins. I would like to post pictures of signage which makes it clear but cannot.

Park in the council carpark and there are bays for motorhomes for £5 a night via the. Ring and go app or wireless payment. Chemical waste and water available and right in the beach. Did have a few cars passing by playing loud music and beeping but otherwise it was a great stopover

Still free parking on the roadside car park at the end is no campers or motorhome a so stay on the roadside. Pretty seaside place we stayed few hours as dogs allowed on beach didn’t stay overnight as quite busy with bank holiday

Beautiful spot.... beach and lovely grass area ...super friendly locals.... very windy when we stayed and heavy rain but cosy in the van...toilets are immaculate never seen such clean public toilets open from 9am to 9pm

Stayed overnight on Saturday, was very busy with cars/campers but didn't take long to get a space. Great views of beach, easy access to pubs/restaurants, but chip shops were all closed at 9pm, no late night dinner! Public toilets close at 9pm but a very friendly attendant allowed us in at 8:59 - clean. Would return, simply beautiful.

Fantastic spot for days and nights. I give 4 stars because in the night time, especially late night. There were some cars drove passed super fast and beep the horn. Apart from that its perfect. Beautiful beach, Park opposite the beach. Also cafe, toilet and playground near by. Perfect for family and dog owners.

Lots of parking space and amazing location. Noisy in evening with cars speeding up road. Was very busy in morning.

A lovely spot for daytime parking. Not great for the night if you are a light sleeper as cars up an down till early hours. Also check weather as very exposed and wind can get very strong

Nice and free parking spot close to sea! However, arrived before noon on a Sunday as parking slots became very occupied later.

Plenty of free parking.. quite a few disabled spots too further up.. great views right on the sea front.. Boys races till about 10.30.. should imagine could be worse of a weekend.. other than that quiet comfy night.. lovely park for children and a toilet block and showers just near the park.. daytime use only..

Great location with plenty of space and no need for manovering. However yes there were some loud people speeding at some point in the middle of the night. It stopped fairly quickly but if it had been any longer, it'd have been very irritating.

I stayed here on Saturday 8 June , it was busy during the day . We still managed to find a great parking space , we arrived about 2.30 pm, it got quite around 7pm. There was an occasional car speeding along the road at night but I found the place to be safe and we all had a great night. We watched a few people horse riding along the beach , the only other people around where other MH and dog walkers, place clean with responsible dog walkers . We will be back for another overnight .
