Great Park up spot on the moors. It does get filled up with cars during the day. Enough space for 5 or 6 campers though. Stunning views

A pretty decent location. We arrived after 9 and there were about two cars with smokers but if you go back down the road a couple of hundred meters there are quite a few level areas just off the road that are suitable to park that are nice and quiet with decent views. The car park was empty before midnight and we were not disturbed.
Nice spot with gorgeous views and lots of walks. Quite busy with cars coming and going a few were blasting music till after midnight but no hassle. Just one car shouting and blasting horn before driving off in middle of night. Might try again another time as it’s a local spot for me
Beautiful spot. It’s true that it’s busy with comings and goings but mainly young people in their cars taking selfies and eating pizza. No bad vibes from anyone and after dark we only heard one car drive up to turn around and drive off. It’s a dead end road but popular to drive up for the sake of it. Fabulous views and morning walks to the stone cross and rocky outcroppings.
Great views but ruined by the amount of cars coming and going. Parked in the lay-by further up but endured aggressive shouts directly as a car past us leaving at 2. 30am. Blasting horn at our campervan too. Just didn't feel right about this place and sadly would not use again.
Lovely view but very busy with people coming and going throughout the night. As mentioned below it's better to park in the lay by on the left just before the car park. Good walks and good signal.
lovely place, very bleak but quiet. was wet and misty tonight but still the views were lovely. no bbq signs up as looks like the moors have been on fire in places here so understandable. would recommend for a picturesque evening
Great park up!! This is a dead end road, no through traffic. It Was empty at six pm when I arrived. One or two cars came up during the evening, stopping a few mins then leaving. I slept soundly all night. Few dog walkers late morning. Nice n chilled views of the Misty moors. A small bin is the only facility.
Stayed in one of the laybys further up from the car park as suggested by other reviewers. Glad I did this as there were a number of cars going to the car park throughout the night. This didn't bother me but I think would have been more intrusive if I hadn't been parked where I was. Other than the sounds of these passing cars it was a great spot.
We stayed on a Saturday evening and while folk we’re friendly there were plenty of late night visits/ engines running while trying to sleep until 4am. Lovely morning walk into Ilkley for breakfast the following morning which helped make up for the noise.
Nice stop at the top of a road so there's no through traffic, couple of dog walkers passing but really peaceful with a nice view
Fantastic views, walk straight out onto the moor! Arrived around 9 pm - totally empty. A few cars turned up later on but left. Woke after a great night’s sleep to sound of grouse and pheasants. There’s a bin.
An extraordinary view and several parking spots at the end of the lane. very quiet and peaceful during the week, but the weekends get busy and there are some doggers at night.
Brilliant view over the moor and a great base for a walk/run. Park slightly down the road in one of the smaller laybys so you aren't disturbed by any nighttime visitors or early morning dog walkers pulling up.
Der Ausblick ist großartig. Leider hatten wir keine so ruhige Nacht. Es kam immer wieder jemand mit dem Auto und hat die Musik laut aufgedreht.
Fabulous place to stay, quite exposed, great views & moorland walks.
