Il y a deux petits parkings de part et d'autre de la route, un peu en pente, et une place plate et herbeuse en bord de mer. A côté d'une jetée devant une île, où les locaux viennent se baigner (méduses en été mais elles sont inoffensives). Route très fréquentée, étroite et sinueuse. Très bonne réception téléphone/internet.
There are two small car parks on both sides of the road, a bit sloping, and a flat grassy square on the seaside. Next to a jetty in front of an island, where locals come to bathe (jellyfish in summer but they are harmless). Road very busy, narrow and sinous. Very good phone/internet reception.
Es gibt zwei kleine Parkplätze auf beiden Seiten der Straße, etwas abfallend, und einen flachen, grasbewachsenen Platz am Meer. Neben einem Steg vor einer Insel, wo Einheimische zum Baden kommen (Quallen im Sommer, aber sie sind harmlos). Straße sehr stark befahren, eng und kurvenreich. Sehr guter Telefon-/Internetempfang.

Stopped here for 2 nights. A place of tranquility and beauty which we had all to ourselves at night. The water was clear and the sunset added the icing to the cake. Narrow to get down here but nothing worse than many of the roads to park-ups we've been down. You could go swimming if you'd wanted. No facilities here but didn't detract from the location. Would recommend.
Très bel endroit pour passer la nuit. Aucun bruit et beau ciel étoilé. L'eau est transparente et il y a un escalier une échelle pour ceux qui auront l'envie de faire une petite baignade. La route pour y accéder est assez étroite sur 2kms mais normalement on ne doit croiser personne parce qu'il y a un chemin aller et un chemin retour (non officiel). Très bel endroit, silence absolu la nuit, passage d'habitants locaux le soir, très bienveillants. Vue magnifique !
Présence le 12 août 2023 Après une descente sur une petite route tortueuse, on découvre un havre de paix en bordure d'un quai avec vue sur une petite île. Nuit calme avec la présence de 3 camping-cars (la place pour un quatrième était possible sur un espace demandat des cales) Au matin, des baigneurs sont venus discrètement profiter de l'eau chaude le l'Irlande.
Spot sublime, très difficile d’accès ( étroit et pentu) mais quelle recompense! On a adoré ! Baignade du port, et vue magnifique. Nuit de rêve.
beautiful place to park in, the island is so amazing to look at and the hidden beaches are also very dreamy! but the only issue is going down that road, it's very curvy and steep, going back up with a heavy camper could be an issue!
Tolle Aussicht. Der Pier wurde vor kurzem neu gestaltet. Wir haben zwei Nächte da verbracht. Etwas holprige Anfahrt, dafur Ruhe. Möglichkeit zum Baden. Ab und zu kommen Leute zum Schwimmen, Tauchen oder Spazieren vorbei.
Sehr schöner Platz mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Ruhig und mit Zugang zum Stand. Platz für mehrere Wohnmobile / Vans. Davon können zirka 3 flach hinstellen, für die anderen ist der Boden etwas schräg. Für uns war dies aber kein Problem. :) Kein Service…hinterlasst also bitte keinen Müll!
Amazing spot! No services or anything, just peace, quiet and nature. Great for a sunrise/sunset dip. I’d definitely stay here again.

Vue superbe! et seuls au monde. Grand vent cette nuit mais nous avons ou nous en protéger quelque peu sur le haut du parking. Possibilité de se balader le long de la route qui continue le long de la côte et n'est pas du tout fréquentée.
Pier is newly redone. Enough parking even for the large campers if you lucky . Snorkeling ,swimming, kayaking you name it... Beautiful views and secluded sandy beaches. Road to it is windy and it is a problem if you meet oncoming traffic. But if you arrive late in the evening you should be good even with the large rig... we are 7.65m and it was no issues. Overnight super quiet. Highly recommended
extraordinary views. definitely not fit for a motor home or really big lwb vans the rd in is super steep and lots of tight bends. local swimming spot but no hassle super friendly locals.
sublime spot. mouettes en fond sonore, lune qui reflète sur la péninsule. balade en canoë / paddle faisable. on a vu des phoques. le parking est rempli le weekend. arriver tôt ou tard.
Un superbe spot avec plusieurs places de stationnement si on a des cales. la vue est sublime et le coin très tranquille. nous sommes descendus par la première route en sortant de Glengarriff avec un fourgon de 6m. la route est étroite avec les herbes et les ronces mais ça passe avec un peu d'attention ou si le véhicule ne craint rien
Excellent spot, really quiet and no one seen until the morning. Had a wonderful swim in the morning to wake up. Bit of a narrow windy road down but not a problem for us in our campers (VW transporters) but could be for a bigger vehicle

Sept. 2021 // Es war himmlisch ruhig, wir haben 2 Nächte hier verbracht. Sehr selten kam ein Auto vorbei. Traumhafte Aussicht auf die vorgelagerte Insel. Guter Ort zum Schwimmen. Die Straße hierher ist sehr eng - war mit unserem Van aber gut zu machen.
Loved this spot, phone signal good so able to relax with Netflix or whatever...road is narrow but has little traffic and no cars past overnight. Earliest someone came for a swim was 9am so great night sleep and would stay again
Stunning. Stayed 20 hours. Swam. Saw a seal. Chilled out! Saw 2 people and one car drove by. Out of season - September 15th ❤️ I’d like to add a photo but can’t work out how!
Absolutely stunning place. The water is as clear as it can get, we spent 2 nights there and went swimming and and paddle boarding. At a low tide you can also find a secret tiny beach.
Beautiful peaceful spot. The Bioluminescence in the water after dark was absolutely incredible!!! Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet. It can be more prevalent at certain times of the year however we were very lucky to get an amazing display (September). Unfortunately the drive down is way too narrow and we badly scratched both sides of our new Motorhome as certain sections of the road are completely overgrown on both sides.
Zetland Pier. Great little spot. Not very level. Long narrow road down, not many passing places. Hairpin bends from Glengarrif side the other end of the access road is easier. If you like remote come here.

Great spot! Very quiet, and room enough for about ten cars. Not perfectly flat everywhere but the view worth it! Not be scared about the path to go there ^^
Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort! Die Zufahrt ist zwar recht eng, aber mit Kastenwagen gut machbar. Hatten kaum Gegenverkehr und standen ganz alleine.
Route étroite mais superbe spot
Schöner sehr ruhiger Stellplatz! Leider ist die Zufahrtsstraße extrem eng und für große Wohnmobile fast ungeeignet. Die Straße ist so schmal, das die Hecken links und rechts am Fahrzeug kratzen. Mit einem Bulli sicher kein Problem.
