Wir waren hier eine Nacht kurz vor Weihnachten. Sehr großer Platz nah zum Strand. Bei Regen sollte man etwas vorsichtig sein, es gibt viele große sitzen und es ist sehr schmutzig. Aber top Platz!

Toller Parkplatz zwei Minuten von top Surfstrand entfernt. Im Winter gut besucht, aber man findet gut einen Platz. GNR kam vorbei, hat aber nichts gesagt. Duschen sind am Strand vorhanden, in einer Beachbar sind außen Toiletten vorhanden, wenn sie offen ist.

I’ve stayed here lots of times. It’s a nice social spot great for meeting other surfers and van lifers. it’s very chill and relaxed. BUT the comments below about thieves in the area are true. I imagine someone coming in to the area at night to lift from the vans. I had 2 wetsuits stolen and so did other vans on the same night. I wouldn’t let it put you off staying - just keep your stuff inside.

ACHTUNG NÄCHTLICHER DIEBSTAHL VON NEOPREN! Eigentlich ein schöner Platz, ja, es riecht ein bisschen nach Urin, aber: Die Leute sind nett, es ist kostenlos, wir wurden bislang nicht verscheucht und es ist fußläufig zum Strand. Trotzdem ist hier nachts einiges los auf dem Parkplatz, definitiv auch Diebe. Also Leute, packt eure Neos ins Auto wenn es dunkel ist...

Loud music until early AM, smells of pee and poop, rubbish everywhere and police came by on the 27th oct and fined everybody with chairs out, stairs out, wetsuits hanging over mirror or bike rack or windows open, saying these were signs of camping.

Grand parking gratuit idéal pour une journée dans les alentours. Proche des restaurants et de la plage. WC propres disponibles à 200m. Nous n’y avons pas passé la nuit.

Parking sympa pour une nuit ou plus. Le bar pas très loin joue de la musique assez fort jusque +/- 4h du matin, ça nous a pas empêché de dormir. Ce n’est pas un endroit sauvage, il doit y avoir aujourd’hui une centaine de véhicules.

Echt eine coole Vanlife Community hier. Wir waren einige Nächte hier. Abends war die Musik manchmal etwas nervig. Wir wussten aber nicht, ob dir aus der Bar vom Strand, oder vom Parkplatz kommt. Die Toiletten an der Bar sind super sauber und die Strandduschen sind okay :)

There is plenty of space and is okay to park for a few nights, but also quite noisy and there is the usual smell of pee and papers everywhere. It is really a pity people are not considerate. It will get ever more difficult to go around in a camper if this keeps going on. Please bury your shit and throw away your papers in a bin. We do not deserve this beautiful nature :(

OJO, ladrones en la zona, robaron nuestra tabla de surf mientras dormíamos. Por lo demás sitio cerca de la playa, pero música muy alta hasta las tres o cuatro de la mañana por los bares de alrededor.

Hier war unsere persönliche Portugal-Enttäuschung. Man riecht deutlich, was es bedeutet, wenn sich die Vanlife Community ohne Toilette an Bord versammelt und jeder seine Notdurft überall verrichtet. Riecht vorher, ob ihr an der gefundenen Stelle parken wollt! Kein Wunder gibt es inzwischen so viele Verbote in Portugal. Der Strand war auch brechend voll - wir sind schnellstens weitergezogen!

Plaats met tientallen campers, toegestaan door de burgemeester om er te verblijven. Perfect voor wie wil gaan surfen. Net naast het strand, geen faciliteiten maar wel openbare wc’s en douches in de buurt. Good vibes ??

El mejor lugar de peniche para quedarse a dormir. Lugar amplio cerca de restaurantes y del pueblo que se encuentra al lado de peniche. No tuvimos problemas con la policía, lugar silencioso, sin más. El único problema son los mosquitos.

Estamos aquí ahora mismo, son las 12,05h de un lunes y no se puede pegar ojo con el pum! pum! pum! de la música disco de algún pub cercano ¡Es insoportable! Ni con tapones. El lugar no está mal para pasar el día en la playa, sin servicios ni sombra pero gratis. Sin embargo, la mal llamada "música" hace imposible el descanso por la noche. Mañana nos iremos a otro sitio.

loved our first night, nice relaxed camper atmosphere and love the fact the police let us stay here for free but unfortunately our second night involved a party set up by 2 mobilehomes with music DJ systems installed, blasting electronic music till 5am!

Buen sitio. Amplio aparcamiento, aunque se llena de coches los fines de semana. La playa justo al lado. Ambiente surfero muy agradable. Chiringuitos donde tomar algo y ver la puesta de sol, restaurantes para cenar bien y un bonito paseo x la zona. Muy recomendable.

Lugar para estacionar día y noche, dormimos 2 noches. Muy cómoda para ir a la playa, justo cruzando. Buen ambiente autocaravanista, gente sana, ayudando ante las pequeñas averías que puedan surgir. No hubo todo nocturno, fuimos jueves y viernes. La playa es espectacular arena fina como harina y el agua buenísima. Pudiendo usar body boards pequeños.

maravilloso lugar al lado de la playa, hay muchísimos sitios, muchas autocaravanas y furgonetas, llegamos un domingo y no pudimos aparcar, esperamos en el gran aparcamiento de peniche y por la noche había mucho espacio, entre semana siempre hay hueco, puestas de sol, zonas azocadas del viento en la playa Norte, perfecto. por la noche tranquilo, se escucha a veces música de las discotecas.

Sehr cooler Platz mit Abstrichen. Lockere Atmosphäre, nette Leute, dicht am schönen Strand mit Toiletten, Duschen Restaurants und Bars. - Leider stinkt es nach Urin. - Der massive Bass der einen Bar bis früh morgens ist nicht zu ertragen! Ich liebe Elektro-Festivals mit Bass, aber das ist echt too much! Wir haben den Platz in der zweiten Nacht um 3:20 verlassen. Schade, wäre sonst echt super.

Great free parking site! Stayed a night here, had no problem with the noise from the bar. A lot of other nice campers, perfect parking place for going surfing! Beach shower and toilets and the beach/bar.

Wohl privater, kostenfreier Parkplatz für mind. 50 Womos. Staubig, von Schilf umstanden, v.a. Surfer, das freie Übernachten wird von der Polizei toleriert, solange kein Campingverhalten. Über die Straße zum weiten Sand-/Surferstrand, wo sich auch 2 Strandbars befinden, die geöffnet und Musik haben bis der letzte Kunde geht. An vielen der übrigen Strandparkplätzen besteht Halteverbot für Womos!

Wundervoller Platz. Toller Vibe, tolle Menschen. Aufstehen, frühstücken in der Bar, surfen, Gitarre spielen, surfen, Abend ausklingen lassen. öffentliche Toiletten gibts auch am Strand (links vom Straßenzugang nach Baleal), öffentliche Duschen an beiden Surfspots. Keine Ahnung, warum es toleriert wird, dass hier so viele stehen. Lasst uns gemeinsam daran mitwirken, dass es so bleibt!

Very well located just steps to multiple surf breaks, beach restaurants, open air shower and thrash cans. Lots of space for any vehicle size. Little noise from the road and from the bar on weekends, but nothing tragic. We slept there with a small kid without a problem.

We loved this spot. Great vibe and close to the beach and some lovely cafes. Don't get fooled by the fact that it's called caravan park on Google though : The GNR came by today and fined everyone 150€ who only remotely showed any camping behavior (windows open, chairs outside, steps out, wheel chocks...). Don't let this keep you from coming though, just have an eye out.

Einfach mega!! Der Parkplatz ansich ist nix besonderes und auch ohne Service, aber durch die geilen Surfstrände um die Ecke und die vielen jungen Menschen macht es richtig Spaß dort zu stehen!!

Tagsüber sehr zu empfehlen, tolle Atmosphäre, super Lage. Die Nacht war jedoch katastrophal. Lauter Bass schallte bis 3 Uhr über den Platz (es ist unter der Woche) und als die Bar ruhig war kämpften die Katzen und Hunde der Gegend. Vielleicht lieber weiter hinten auf dem Platz stellen, damit man die Bar nicht so laut hört.

Wat een fantastische camperplek! Leuk sfeertje en super locatie. Aan de overkant van de weg vind je het strand met leuke strandtentjes. Je kan er surflessen nemen of lekker relaxen op het strand. De CP heeft verder geen faciliteiten. In het weekend wel geluid van de discotheken in de buurt. Dat is vervelend maar de plek is te leuk om niet te verblijven.

Toller Ort um zu übernachten. Zudem kommt man sehr gut mit anderen ins Gespräch. Absolute Empfehlung für Surfer. Um am Abend den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen können wir nur ein Besuch bei der Bar empfehlen. Einfach wunderschön.

Great spot for a night! The beach clubs can be loud on the weekends, but if you park in the back, no problem. People were friendly and the beach is very nearby. Good surfing spot, many others & surfschools around! Recommended

Perfect location for learning to surf. Very close to the 2 beaches and rentals and surf schools are all around. The only downside are the beach bars/night clubs on the weekend that are very loud and go on until 4/5am. So if you want to catch soms sleep in the weekend you better park towards the back of the terrain.

You will either love or hate this place. It is the ultimate hippie camp with all sorts of vehicles and people. There are usually between 50-100 vehicles on a any given night. Good surfing vibes! Can get a little bit noisy. Shower on the beach parking lot and toilets in cafes. Please keep it clean!

Nach dem Überqueren der Straße ist Man direkt am Meer, wo auch kostenlose Toiletten zu Verfügung stehen. Auch Müllcontainer sind dort vorhanden. Schade ist, dass hier anscheindend vielen Camper stehen, die sich nicht vollständig selbst versorgen können und viel Klopaoier in dem, den Platz umgebenden Grün zu finden ist.

Super schöner Platz! Wir waren ein paar Tage dort. Auch in der Nebensaison gut besucht. Wir haben uns definitiv sicher gefühlt. Man überquert die Straße und gelangt zu zwei Surfstränden. Eine Toilette in der Strandbar vorhanden. Diese ist offen und für jeden zugänglich. Die Strandbar ist super günstig und lecker! Viele Anbieter für Rentals und Surfstunden sind dort ebenfalls vorzufinden!

Perfect, a lot of space, almost like a little village of camper homes. Beaches very closeby, restaurants and shops aswell. The restaurant Taberna do ganhao is a must! Get the octopus or actually anything. Come soon, then there is a line and no reservations.

Massive Van Park for free and legal overnight stay. The private owner comes by sometimes and is really nice and chill! Please don’t pee on the sand of the parking, it smells for weeks! 5 min walk to the beach, which is mostly crowded but there are many corners to find a good spot. The restaurants we mostly went to have great food (Tribo and 3 House) and toilets. Shower on the beach.

Buen sitio para aparcar y pasar la noche, no hay vistas ni nada pero la playa está cruzando la carretera, bares etc....todo super tranquilo. Por la tarde dan sombra las cañas altas que hay. A ver si lo mantenemos limpio por favor.

Zeer gezellig plek. Stand is 3 minuten lopen dus ideaal om te surfen. Douchen kan op het strand en er zijn veel afvalcontainers in de buurt. Veel andere gezellige mensen leren kennen op deze plek en zelfs nog een beetje kunnen feesten! Wel veel vliegen op deze plek, doordat het midden in een maisveld is.

Sehr unkomplizierte Möglichkeit ein paar Tage an einem Surfer Spot zu verbringen. Selbst in der Hochsaison gut besucht, aber immer noch ausreichend Plätze vorhanden. Toilette, Strandbars, Supermarkt, Café/ Restaurants ob der Nähe. Auch sehr nah zum Strand, aber kein direkter Blick aufs Meer. Nachts war’s ruhig.

Sehr großer Parkplatz für Campervans und Wohnmobilen im hinteren Bereich, umgeben von Maisfeldern. 2 min zum Strand, Bars, Cafés etc. Tolle, entspannte Atmosphäre und ein Ort, der einlädt, mehrere Nächte zu bleiben.

Parkplatz am Wochende in der Hochsaison super überfüllt. Wir hatten Probleme wieder raus zu kommen. Autos parken ohne jegliche Rücksicht auf größere Wohnmobile. Sind nicht über Nacht geblieben. Hat uns leider nicht zugesagt

Lugar muy social. Más de 50 campers/ac, ningún problema con la policía al menos la noche que pasamos allí. Al haber mucha gente hace que la noche sea ruidosa, pero en general hemos dormido muy bien y nos hemos sentido muy seguros. A 2 minutos de la playa, ambiente surfer y juvenil, también familiar. Recomendable!!!

Cooler Platz zum frei stehen. Schon jetzt (Ende Mai) recht voll mit ca. 50 Vans/Wohnwagen. Allesamt aber recht coole Leute, die meisten Surfer. Nachts erstaunlich ruhig. Die Besitzverhältnisse sind wohl nicht ganz klar weshalb die Polizei das freistehen hier duldet. Wir haben uns mit anderen Campern unterhalten die teils schon 2 Monate hier stehen. 50m zum Strand und einigen Restaurants. Da kostenlos auch keine Services. :)

Pernoitamos 1 noite neste sítio com muitas mais autocaravanas ( cerca de 30). Noite sossegada, idealmente situado. Pensávamos que era o terreno de um particular que cedia o terreno mas não temos a certeza dessa informação.

Muy buen sitio para dormir el gnr solo te multara si tienes la ventanas por fuera del los retrovisores, la escalera electrica puesta, sillas o mesas fuera pero si estas solo estacienado no te dicen nada. Tienes dos playas a 50 metros con orientaciones diferentes y cada dia hay olas aveces pequeñas y aveces grande. Sitio perfecto o surf perfecto

Stayed 3 nights mid March 21 with about 30 other campers of various sizes. Got fined on the 3rd morning for being on levelers. GNR giving “tickets” for camping. If just parked with nothing seemed fine.

Haben vom 25.01.21 zum 26.01.21 am Tag und in der Nacht mit ca.20 Campern dort gestanden.Großes Grundstück, wahrscheinlich Privat. Alles sehr ruhig, hier kann man ein oder auch mehrere Tage und Nächte verbringen.

Close to the beach, nice surfing, good to meet people, lots of Hipsters, please use bathroom right at the beach, and take your wetsuit inside at night, on friday night there were around 6 wetsuits stolen. no camping chairs, police will fine 150€. good place though, would come back.

Fantastische plek! Tijdens het lange weekend met de reis restricties ontstond hier een klein camper dorp met een super relaxte sfeer. Loopafstand van het strand met leuke bar, afvalcontainers, wc en buitendouche...perfecte locatie om wat langer te staan en een eerste surfles te ervaren. Heel veel dank aan de eigenaar van deze plek om dit zo open te stellen voor ons om te verblijven!

Très grand parking, juste en face des deux spots de Baleal. Bonne ambiance et calme en semaine. Plus de monde et de bruit le week-end. Il y a des toilettes de l’autre côté de la route, derrière le bar (fermées quand le bar l’est aussi).

Massive free parking space for small to extra large motorhomes. Plenty of space. Mostly flat. Plenty of other campers and friendly. Great surfing vibe. Surf was pumping today. 6-8ft offshore. Enjoy

Best spot to stay close to the beach in Baleal without any hussel. Please take your waste with you and don't shit in the bushes even if you are the coolest surfer-hipster on the planet. Otherwise this place will not last long.

Great spot. Right by many surf spots, safe place to leave your vehicle during the day and overnight - we have stayed overnight here many times. Friendly atmosphere, lots of space and amongst many other campers from all over the world.

Very quiet, lots of RVs and very close to the beach. Great for surfers. The only negative point is there is no light and it is a dirt road

Top Platz wenn man keine großen Ansprüche hat. Keine 100m zum Strand und Bars und Restaurants gleich in der Nähe. Standen hier für 2 Nächte ohne Probleme. Wären gerne noch länger geblieben aber uns wurde am Supertubos Beach der Bus aufgebrochen und sind deshalb weitergefahren.

Only for day parking. With restaurants and showers. Nice views by the beach where you can surf. There is a small entrance for a dirt road nearby where you can park and spend the night safely and quietly.

Super pratique. Pas très joli. Impeccable pour aller surfer. Nous y avons logé deux nuits avec notre camping-car. Plein d’autres camping-cars. Prevoir les boules quies les week-ends. Calez vous au fond du parking et vous entendez moins les bars. Bon surf !

Aquí si te dejan autocaravanas, nosotros abrímos toldos, no tiene servicios pero esta genial al lado de la playa, y en la playa hay aseos y duchas

Wunderbare Parkplatzwiese! Stand hier eine ganze Woche. Die Polizei fuhr mehrmals vorbei, sagte jedoch nichts. Am Wochenende parken hier auch die Einheimischen, also ist es sehr voll. Unter der Woche jedoch kein Problem.

On ne peut pas y dormir. La police nous a gentiment demandé de ne pas nous installer. Faites 100 m en arrière, il y a un parking en sable dur qui fera l'affaire pour une nuit. Ce n'est pas très joli mais vous êtes au calme même si vous entendez un peu la musique du bar de la page
