No overnight parking signs have gone up.

I’ve not stayed here, I’m a local and thought I’d let you know there’s now signs stating no overnight parking/camping.

  • 5/5

Can I get a motorhome down there? 2.35 metres.

Fantastic spot - beautiful views. Touring the coast clockwise so was a welcome sight after driving through all the populated areas. Recommend walking up to the oratory too for 360 views all the way over to Portsmouth as well as towards France. There's even a trig up there too if you're into bagging!

Lovely spot in secondary car park. Secluded and relatively private bar a few local youths who were no bother at all. Stunning views and sunset.

  • 4/5

As per other comments it’s motorbike-ville but they all left after sunset and arrived at about 8am so no bother during majority of night. View in the morning with your coffee makes the motorbikes worth it!

There were motorbikers pretty much until sunset, but they don't mind you. There is a more secluded area where you can park - you won't get the fantastic views, but you'll have more privacy. We were there on a Monday night and it was very grey and rainy, so we had the place to ourselves for the night.

Apparently no overnight restrictions. Good 4G signal 50M+... nice view. Perfect work place for digital nomads...

Lovely spot but VERY narrow lane to get there with very few passing points and lots of low hanging trees. Gets busy with dog walkers during the day.

  • 2/5

If you want to be disturbed by constant motorbikes revving their engine and driving around the carpark to show off then its ideal for you. eitherwise I'd avoid it.

  • 3/5

No facilities but what a view - as long as it’s not windy. Once the car park has cleared (bikers tend to be last to go) it becomes so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Got woken up very early by masses of crows and seagulls pulling all the rubbish out from the bins - which were full - and they made a real mess. I went and picked up after them and put the rubbish back in the bin. Never wanted a chance we could be blamed for it.

Fine for a few nights and very quiet in the evening. I suspect the locals would complain if inundated with vans though. Views and walks are wonderful. Access easy.

  • 1/5

LOTS AND LOTS of motorcycles continually arriving. Decided to move on due to the noise and disruption. This was a Saturday evening. May be very different weekdays.

  • 5/5

Great nights sleep. Lots of space for big or small vans. Refuse points. Overlooking West side of island with great view point. Level. Some noise early evening from youths watching sunset, afterwards complete tranquillity.

Only spent a few hours here during the day but looks a very nice place for one night. I would suggest staying in the far left area as you drive into the car park away from the front view point
