Saltburn-by-the-Sea, 9 Marine Parade

Great location overlooking the sea. 4 others parking overnight. No issues.

I am a resident of Saltburn and also a van owner - always recommending Saltburn to those looking for overnighting - however at the moment I would be wary of parking on Marine Parade due to a number of residents kicking off recently - we don't want to lose this location - there is no problem at all using catnab carpark - in the current climate I would suggestion using that location

Totally free parking day and night, park with two wheels on the kerb to level the motorhome as everyone else did. Very quiet through the night, we even saw dolphins in the morning

Stayed here last night, at the top end of marine parade where you park parallel to the road (further down they are bays at 90 degrees to the road). No charge for parking, no signs prohibiting overnight parking, and a lovely view out over the sea. Toilets on front, but close at 4pm during the winter. Good chippy on the front open til 9pm. Sainsbury's less than 5 minutes walk away too.

Love this spot, there's plenty of space but it does get very busy, luckily we have managed to get a spot each time we've been, just keep driving around haha, beach is great but you do have to walk down to it and it's quite a walk back especially after a few beers ha, lovely places for food and fish and chips, no showers or places to re fill water though, well not that we've found yet :-)

Free parking on the top promenade (wide road with parking on road), no signs to say 'No overnight stops'. Gets very busy during the daytime in summer with cars/tourists. Toilets at the bottom of the bank near the beach. Specific area on beach for dog-walking. Plenty of pubs. Italian gardens to walk in. Nice woods in valley to walk through, with a large viaduct, very picturesque.
