Flat land 2 km from the pier for Akdamar. swimming and diving possible. some locals in the evening but who leave at dusk. very calm in the morning. weak point: a lot of waste on the ground ... a bit like everywhere.
Flaches Land 2 km von der Anlegestelle nach Akdamar. Schwimmen und Tauchen möglich. ein paar Einheimische am Abend, die aber bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit abreisen. morgens sehr ruhig. Schwachpunkt: viel Müll am Boden ... ein bisschen wie überall.

Beautiful location, nice rocks, view of snowy mountains and islands. Seagulls and other birds everywhere - very nice. Unfortunately there’s trash but it’s hard to find a place in the country that’s not similarly littered. There were locals at night listening to music but they left at midnight and didn’t give us any issues. You have to drive down on the dirt road, not the paved one.

A good park up. There is a little narrow part to go through but it’s fine in our 7.5m and once up over the otherside it’s great views and plenty places to park. Families come at weekend to picnic and all fine. Usual rubbish and old fire pits.
Très joli spot pour sa vue. Très peu de possibilités d'etre plat, sauf un petit plateau plus à l'abri de la vue et de la route passante. La piste d'accueil est très défoncée mais faisable en étant attentif aux gros cailloux parfois pointus. Repli sur le petit port en cas de souci ...
WE are here and the place is wonderfull! WHAT a view !! WE are a french couple who will spend 3 days here, if you want to join us to drink and play! :D It's possible to swim and fish ther ans THERE IS flat spot! see you!
An manchen Stellen gibt es leider viel Müll (wie so oft hier), aber diese sind vermeidbar. Ansonsten super schöner Ort mit Zugang zum Wasser. Die Straße hört man ein wenig, aber nicht unangenehm.
Que 2 * car malheureusement le site est jonché de déchets, il y a peu d'emplacements plats ... il y a beaucoup d'emplacements autour du lac qui valent leurs 5*, pas celui ci et c'est dommage. Nous sommes partis
Unser schönster Ort am Van-See! Keine Fliegen wie sonst so oft. Mehrere wirklich tolle Stellplätze (der Weg verzweigt sich am Ende) und eine fantastische Aussicht. Ein paar Einheimische tagsüber, sehr ruhige Nacht. Wie in einem anderen Kommentar schon erwähnt: Google schickt einen in die falsche Straße - wenn ihr von Süden kommt müsst ihr den Weg vor der empfohlenen Abbiegung nehmen.

Great spot, nice views and the normal litter everywhere. However, definitely recommended. Space for 2-3 large vehicles. Google maps recommends a wrong turn from the main street. It's a small dust road an bit further down the main road. Very quiet when we were there. Doable with almost any vehicle.
