Parking Hubert Latham inaugurated in July 2018. One part is reserved for buses, another limited to 2m10 and one without restriction that can accommodate a fortnight of camper. Located at the entrance of the town, close to the beach. View of the English coast and Cape Nez.

Currently taped off and closed (end Nov 2020). Work has started on the improvements/addition of facilities. Parking possible next door in the little cemetery car park if you need somewhere before or after your crossing.

Great place to stay, there is not limit of days and there is space for many campers, motorhomes and cars. The car entrance has a height limit of 2.10m. There were plans to have toilet facilities at the end of September 2020 but on early November they have not started yet.

Toller Gratisplatz ohne besondere Einrichtungen. Ein Toilettenhaus ist anscheinend in Planung. Relativ nah am der Straße aber dennoch nachts ruhig. Großartiger Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe. Genug Platz zum Rangieren, etc. Waren schon mehrmals hier und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Schöner Platz, um eine Nacht vor oder nach der Überfahrt nach England zu verbringen. Man kann von dort direkt in den Dünen oder am Meer spazierengehen. Achtung! Wer der Beschilderung folgt, landet auf einem kostenpflichtigen Stellplatz.

Ein einfacher kostenloser Platz an einem schönen Fleckchen Erde. Wir konnten vom WoMo aus das Meer sehen. Wir blieben 3 Nächte, da es uns so gut gefiel. Vom Strand aus kann man bis nach Calais laufen, was wir auch getan haben. In die andere Richtung kann man wunderbar an der Küste entlang bis zum Cap Blanc Nez laufen. Einfach herrlich.

Parking situé à l'entrée de la Ville. C'est très bien. Cela reste un parking! Il y a un projet de construction de sanitaires. Vous connaissez la suite.

Sympa, très venteux et jolie vue sur les ferries ;) Je pense même que la municipalité devrait construire une aire de services, car étant donné la majesté du lieu ça manque cruellement. Sinon c'est déjà pas mal. Dernière chose, n'oubliez pas vos cales car le lieu est bien en pente.

Very good. Cleaner than Wissant , better than Citi Europ. Fine with a dog, very quiet and ideal for the tunnel. No facilities though, you can’t empty anything except rubbish.

A le mérite d exister surtout dans le secteur. Aire propre à proximité de la mer et du cap. belle ballade. Mais comme dans beaucoup d endroit certains se croient au camping et font leur déballage. Cette nuit du 17 août environ 30 cc. Merci tout de même à la commune de Sangatte.

Arrived at 10.30pm but still quite a few spaces remaining. A quiet night, felt very safe. We left at 5am so didn’t actually see the area in daylight but would stay here again as an overnight stop for the tunnel.

Grande aire pour CC propre et gratuite. Proche de la mer (200 m.) et du Cap Blanc Nez. Nous y avons passé une nuit. Grand merci à la Ville de Sangatte.

Sehr voll, aber dafür auch genug Platz für große Wohnmobile. Leider keine Toiletten und viele lassen ihren Müll liegen obwohl Mülltüten aufgehängt sind. Müll wird täglich geleert. Super nah am breiten Sandstrand.

Großer Wohnmobilstellplatz, schön nah zum Strand. Nur auf befestigtem Grund stehen !! Wir wurden gewarnt. Wer außerhalb steht zahlt Strafe.

Parking bij D940, ook voor bussen en auto's. Overdag erg druk, vooral tijdens week-end en vakantie. s'Nachts rustig. Restaurant op wandelafstand, bakker/kruidenier op 1,2km. Start van meerdere wandelingen. Geen service, wel kraantje op kerkhof.

Aire calme malgré la proximité de la route. Aucun service. Toilette publique autonettoyantes à 200 m. Accès à la plage à 100 m. Belles promenades jusqu’au Cap environ 3 km.

Très bonne aire . Merci à la commune de Sangatte . Dans le secteur on a pas beaucoup de choix . Pour les services il faut aller au camping des Érables à Escalles 4 euros les services eau comprise les propriétaires sont super sympas et pas allergiques aux campings caristes comme au camping des noires mottes

Wir waren eine Nacht dort, sehr sauber, ein wenig Lärm durch die Straße unmittelbar nebenan. Hat uns allerdings nicht gestört. Wanderweg sowie Fahrradweg direkt angeschlossen.

Toegelaten camperplek. Redelijk volzet aangezien ze elke andere parking in de buurt aan het afsluiten zijn. Goed geslapen. Wandeling naar cap Blanc-nez van hieruit op 3 km ongeveer.

Air de camping car vraiment sympa et calme. Par contre l'emplacement est en plein vent donc si comme nous vous dormez dans un van avec une toile, vous allez vraiment pas bien dormir. Dommage

Used to wait during the way for our tunnel home on 17 March. Still open at that point with no indication of closure. Several other vans present 15 min easy drive to terminal building, felt safe. Good luck to all travelling home. x

Sehr schön gelegener, neuer Stellplatz. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar, circa 400 Meter. Auffahrkeile sind notwendig, da Stellplatz etwas abschüssig ist. Wirklich SEHR ruhige Nachbarschaft.

Schöner, neu angelegter Stellplatz. von Pferden umgeben und eine wunderbare Aussicht in die Natur. Der Platz ist ruhig auch in der Nebensaison sollte man den Platz nicht zu spät anfahren, um noch einen Platz zu bekommen. Der breite Sand Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. An diesem kann man mehrere Bunkeranlagen sehen. Ich komme gerne wieder zu diesem Platz. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr ruhiger Platz neben dem Friedhof. Von hier starten mehrere Wanderwege durch die Dünen. Ideal, wenn man vor oder nach dem Tunnel mit dem Hund gehen möchte. Die Straße ein Stück hinunter befindet sich ein direkter Zugang zum Sandstrand. Achtung! Wenn man der Beschilderung Camping-Parkplatz folgt, landet man auf einem kostenpflichtigen Platz.

Très beau parking, bien positionné, plages en face et nombreux sentiers de rando notamment pour le cap blanc nez et le mont hubert. seul hic les anglais et hollandais qui vident leurs eaux usées à terre et prennent toute la place !!

Very busy in mid July but still spaces. Free and very well positioned for the village, beach and walks to Cap Blanc with its history and cracking views. Knocked a star off only because it's noisy late and early, and is well packed out in season. A good spot for the tunnel and ferry at Calais. No service point, but some folks dump their grey, so we may see a height barrier soon enough.

Sehr schöner Platz (für ca. 20-25 Wohnmobile) nur 2 Minuten vom Meer und dem kleinen Ort Sangatte entfernt. Im Ort gutes Restaurant und leckere Bäckerei. Direkt über dem Eurotunnel, von dem man aber gar nichts hört. Guter Ausgangspunkt um zum Cap Blanc Nez zu wandern oder zu radeln.

Great for tunnel or if you want a couple of nights close to the beach. No service just rubbish bags provided. Nice little bakery 1km toward Calais. Only negative was a hum sound all night from local factory.

Au top ce parking. Dommage que ceux qui sont là en attendant leur ferry vident leurs eaux sales par terre en partant. C'est pas sympa pour les autres et cela ne nous donne pas bonne réputation ! Respectons ces communes qui veulent bien encore de nous et gratuitement!

Nice spot. Stayed 2 nights, arrived at 1am after ferry from Calais, easy drive and free to stay. Sloping, need ramps to get level. View of channel and ferries. Walks and beach close by. Restaurant short walk. Almost directly over the tunnel, but no noise from adjacent above ground plant. Nice quiet place to stay, thank you Sangatte.

Grand parking gratuit. Un coin pour les camping-cars, un pour les voitures et un pour les bus. Aucun service. Proche de la plage et une bonne boulangerie à un kilomètre. Aucune restriction en ce qui concerne la nuit. Nous y avons passé une nuit plutôt calme. Merci à la municipalité.

Grand parking gratuit, une nuit de passée ici dans le calme. Une zone pour camping-car, une autre avec barrière de 2.10 m. Joli panorama à côté au cap du Nez Blanc. A 10 minutes de l'Eurotunnel. Donc très bien !
