White Horse Upton

Stayed here 10/9/22. The car park was packed when we arrived so had to park by the bins. Pub food was ok. Pub emptied into the bins around midnight, otherwise quiet. Woke up in the morning surrounded by bins. Left and found a lay by to get dressed and have breakfast.

The staff at the pub were so friendly, we had dinner and drinks and they were more than happy to let us stay in the car park overnight in our camper, nice and quiet, would definitely recommend!

Phoned the day before to ask if we could park for the night in car park and were enthusiastically told of course. We had a nice meal, House Burger, fries, onion rings and coleslaw and drinks. I have to say the coleslaw was amazing. Had a peaceful night's sleep in the camper and left by 7am. Off to Starbucks just over a mile away for the loo and coffee.

First night away in our camper van conversion and saw the positive feedback and just finished a lovely meal the staff are fantastic and polite. Parked up on level ground and went and asked if we could stay and they said no problem at all. Large garden with tables .

Excellent food and drink at good prices with very friendly and helpful staff. Open Thursdays for drinks and Friday, Saturday and Sunday for food. Flat and peaceful parking. I highly recommend.

A lovely community run pub with friendly, local staff that made stopping here an absolute joy. We could park our motorhome in the car park for the night. The lovely and enthusiastic Jess told us about great local walks and made us feel really welcome. A small community shop is next to the pub. We sat in the beer garden until the sun went down and enjoyed some lovely lite bites and a few pints.

Stayed for 2 nights, very quiet and relaxing. One other van in car park when I arrived. Pub not open (Wednesday) so checked in the shop if it was ok to park and was told it was ok. Had a knock on the door on Thursday and thought I was going to be asked to move but no, it was a local resident named John (and shareholder) in the pub asking if I had everything I needed! It turned out he is a fellow motorhomer and gave me his card for future reference. What a lovely warm welcome. I had lunch in the pub garden on Friday (pub only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Good food and reasonably priced and staff are very friendly. Will definitely return.

Nice pub great walks nearby , car park ok for two Motorhomes pub super friendly with good outside seating , great Sunday lunch , would recommend to call before turning up to make sure they have space

Nice little stop, not a massive amount of atmosphere in the pub but food was good and reasonably priced, quiet spot in the village too so fairly peaceful night sleep

Very friendly, no issues in staying overnight. Great food and drink as well.
