A great place to see a glacier up close. It's a 2.8km hike/scramble to the view point and gets you within a hundred metres or so of the glacier. The boat wasn't running when we were there, but it only takes you half way to the viewing point. Road in is quite narrow and undulating at times, especially in our truck. Luckily it was very quiet - only 3 other cars there.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt zum Besuch des Gletschers! Man kann von dort wandern oder noch ein Stück mit dem Boot über den See fahren. Sehr sehenswert! Viel Platz auch für größere Mobile, öffentliche Toiletten. Teils schmale Straße. Geschlafen haben wir hier nicht.

Magique magnifique ça vaut le coup de payer 80 nok pour arriver devant le glacier car après il y a encore une bonne heure de marche et escalade pour arriver au pied
