Hanko, 1 Tulliniementie

Our favorite place to stay in the Hanko area. Stayed here for a week straight in summer. Even though there is a “no camping” sign both local and tourist cars were here without issues. It is very quite, super close to the beach and only a handful of other cars in some nights. Also the Café owner is super friendly. When you park in the right spots, you can leave your back doors open and view the sea, and sometimes ships going in the harbor right from your bed. Highly recommended place - and not crowded beach. :) Edit: Last Night the Police was here and told everyone, that sleeping here is not allowed. None of the cars left though and they did not check back during the night...

Good spot, quiet, on the beach. No facilities. Shady. Cafe nearby with toilets (free if you buy from cafe but 2euro otherwise). Nice swimming beach but water cold in late Aug.
