Très jolie plage et des emplacements tout le long sur 3km. Attention, risque de s’enliser par endroits. Comme partout en Grèce, le « camping sauvage » est interdit, il convient donc de ne pas trop « s’étaler » avec chaises, tables, auvents etc... j’ai passé 2 mois de confinement ici sans souci (attention néanmoins à bien verrouiller votre véhicule comme partout ailleurs)

Also, wir haben hier etwa 3,5 Wochen während des lockdowns verbracht. Es gab viel Gerüchte darüber, dass Campen hier nicht erlaubt ist und die Polizei hier immer wieder „parkende“ ermahnt. Einheimische haben anscheinend etwas gegen das Campen/parken hier und sabotieren immer wieder die von der Stadt freundlicherweise zur Verfügung stehenden Wasserstellen. Wir haben es hier sehr genossen und hoffen, dass sich bald alles wieder normalisiert.

Great place off season! Stay close to the little shopping stand so police won't bother you. They are known to pick on people parked in remote spaces towards the back of this huge area. Mind that there are several stray dogs (they are friendly)

Very nice place but lots of thefts these last days. they took a man's bike few days ago. they took our small solar panel yesterday.

Très sympa. Beaucoup de familles françaises et allemandes pour ce confinement ! Camionnette qui passe livrer le pain tout les matins.

Großes Areal, streckt sich über 3km. Mitte August waren viele Camper hier, aber aufgrund der Weitläufigkeit hat jeder genug Platz. Wer hier nichts findet ist blind ;) viele Bäume = viel Schatten. Am Parkplatz ist eine Bar & ne Dusche. Von den in anderen Bewertungen erwähnten perversen/pädophilen Gastarbeitern haben wir keinen gesehen.

The beach is never ending kind, with a lot of space if you accept to stay far from sea. If you instead aim to have sea view, suitable places are limited. Then it might happen that you park close to another van and owner gets stressed by your neighborhood, pretending you to leave explaining you are loud and too close to him!! He was a stupid German guy with long hair and a funny perizoma who believes he can dispose of the globe as it was the owner...last but not least water is definitely blue and nice but cloudy so you don’t see the backdrop.

To all the travelers, campers in Elea, especially to all the familys and children. Pay ATTENTION to this message, even if it is not written in the best english. There were quite a lot cases of voyeurism the last months, women feeling insecure and observated while taking a shower or walking along the forest. There are foreign workers on the fields behind the forest causing this kind of Problems. ATTENTION, there is even a man with pedophile tendency. He was observating the kids, asking for taking a picture with the kids, asking for taking the kids on his knees. Last week he tried to tare the hand of a kid to his penis he showed while they were playing alone at one of the watering place. We informed the police and the friends of the Forest. For your security, please do not let your children play alone near the forest and do not lose sight of your kids during all the time.

The place is very beautiful, BUT THE BEACH IS PROTECTED BECAUSE OF THE SEE TURTLES! So don’t park next to the beach! So please stupid people don’t park on OR next to the beach. Because the young turtles when they hatch they walk to the stars and moon in the night. And if you shine with your light to the beach they go the wrong way...AND DIE!!

Toute la zone des 4 sapins verts est parfaite. Nous y avons passé seulement 2 nuits mais on aurait pu y rester un mois si nous avions le temps. La police passe mais ne dit rien malgré notre table et les chaises dehors. Attention à l'herbe qui cache le sable, nous sommes resté bloqué.
