We agree with NessaVW. The single/double yellow lines and the 10pm to 7am restriction put us off .. they are old signs. We have stayed there in the past but they have tightened up. We stayed in one of the loop laybys nearby.
not much privacy, parking on the side of the road. but there is a portaloo and the view is beautiful!

There’s clean portaloos with a donation box in the car park and it was quiet enough for our 3 dogs to be in and out of the vans with no issues. The view of the loch is lovely and there’s a big field to walk round behind the car park.
Parking le long de la route face au loch. Magnifique vue. Un peu bruyant avec la route qui passe au dessus.
Uitzicht is idd erg mooi. Je staat aan de straatweg met een smalle stoep je kunt dus niet voor de camper zitten. Weinig privacy maar aardige mensen. Ochtend zwem maakt alles goed. Weg is rustig met verkeer. Je hoort de snelweg maar dat stoorde ons niet
Nice spot, though right at a side road. I think parking is actually not allowed between 10 pm to 6 am. We stayed one night, arrived late at around 9 pm and left at 8 am. There were two other campers next to ours.
Stayed here one night in February. No problems, very quiet. Lots of cars in the morning parking up for a morning dip. Fantastic sunrise views. Great for picnic/ day parking. May have a problem overnight parking in summer/ busy tourist times. Bins and picnic benches and duck bay marina few minutes walk away.
Some areas are single and double yellows, but lots of spots which aren't. great place for access to the loch, duck bay restaurant and a 30 minute walk to Balloch.
There is a small spot where there are no restrictions. Space for 3 vans. There were some vans who overnighted on the single yellows and appeared to have no issues. Superb views of the loch with beach access and a superb fields for dogs to explore and roam. Sadly there is some littler on the shore/roadside.
No Parking from 10pm to 7am
Fabulous overnight stay, toilets available due to workmen, bonus! Quiet nights sleep didn't hear the traffic at all. Lovely walks along the Loch some rubbish left by people not clearing away after themselves, real shame. Great place for a free night stay!

Arrived late at night, there was about 10 motorhomes parked up which take up most of one side of a 2 way road. Parking is on single yellow lines. Someone tried to open the van door overnight, they may have tried others too as we heard dogs barking (but I guess that could happen anywhere). On the plus side, woke up to a lovely sunrise over Loch Lomond!
Nice spot parking on the road, but unfortunately spoiled by people setting up chairs and even cooking on the path making pedestrians walking on the road.
Nice view but that’s it, avoid it. Too crowded, people making barbecue in the picnic area, jet ski on the loch, the campervans are parked on one of the two way road. Also not only nice people, rubbish on the floor... noise... a shame.
Excellent spot. Great view. Traffic noise wasn't a problem. Stayed overnight.

The old road along from Ducks Bay hotel, beautiful view of Loch Lomond, easy parking, picnic area on opposite side of road. Noise of traffic from main A82, but worth it for the view.
