Great layby stay, with access onto the Loch for paddleboarding and swimming. We arrived at 3pm and stayed for 24hrs! Lots of cars and MHs stopping to take photos and then drive off, a couple of other vans joined us for overnight stay. Traffic noisey in the day but not too busy overnight! Generally quite flat and good 4g signal

Vue dégagée et extraordinaire. Content de trouver ce parking même s’il est en bord de route. Presque rien de gratuit pour accueillir les campings cars en Écosse donc plutôt content même si bruyant dès le matin. Calme pour la nuit. Le matin arrêt fréquent de véhicules

Nous y avons passé la nuit. C’est très beau mais bruyant avec les voiture qui passent. Nous avons été réveillés tôt.

Wat een geweldige plek om te overnachten!!! Na 20.00 uur bijna geen verkeer meer. Prachtig zicht over Loch Nan Uahm.

Etwas größere Parkbucht. Haben hier übernachtet, wie 2 anderen Campern auc. Blick auf den See fantastisch und nachts trotz Straße sehr ruhig.

Redelijk rustig langs de weg met een mooi uitzicht op onder andere het meer en de Harry Potter trein. Oke internet signaal maar weinig ruimte om een hond uit te laten.

Auf dem Weg zur Isle of Skye. Etwas Abstand zur Straße, 2 andere Camper neben uns. Viel mehr Platz ist dann auch nicht mehr. Parkplatz ist an einem kleinen Kieselstrand.Zwei Stühle, eine Flasche Wein und dann einen grandiosen Blick aufs Wasser, Camperherz was willst du mehr. Die Nacht von 00-05 Uhr wenig Verkehr, morgens im See gebadet, Ufer etwas schlammig. Kein Mülleimer, bitte alles mitnehmen!

Sur le côté de la route mais un peu écarté quand même. Endroit plutôt calme, quelques voitures sont passées cette nuit en claxonnant mais assez calme tout de même.

Lovely view. Road is nearby, buy pretty much silent after 21:00. Not many midges.

Toller Stellplatz, nah an der Straße aber nachts ist diese wenig befahren. Schöne Aussicht. Guter Startpunkt um am nächsten Tag zum Viaduct Parkplatz zu fahren. Keine Verbotsschilder, keine Höhenbegrenzung.

Wir haben eine entspannte Nacht verbracht. Es gibt einen kleinen Strand und die Straße ist in der Nacht ruhig. Alles sauber. Gegen Abend waren wir 5 wagen. Aber es war genug Platz für alle.

Très beau point de vue. À plat, coin boisé à proximité au bord de l’eau. Assez d’espace pour plusieurs véhicules.

Absolutely beautiful stop right by the loch. Slightly set off road. Perfect if you want a dip in the loch!

Good spot by the lake. It was rather noisy though, and the speed with which cars pass made our van shake haha. But good night's sleep nevertheless. No sign of midges as of April.

Amazing spot for a place to get your head down. Quiet overnight with minimal traffic. It is right by the road though, not much bigger than a lay-by. Space for 4 vans. Great views.

Teníamos Ferry al día siguiente y pudimos adelantarlo a última hora, por lo que una vez cruzado Mallaig, era el sitio que más nos interesaba, cerca de Glenfinnan (10min en coche). A really great spot. We were also able to launch canoes from here. However we were approached by a very grumpy estate worker who told us that this was not a campsite and that it belonged to the estate and we shouldn’t leave any rubbish. He was quite intimidating. Notwithstanding the fact that we had done a litter sweep on arrival and that it was tidier when he got there then when we had arrived!!

Parking en bord de route, assez calme la nuit, pratique. Nous y sommes allés afin d’être proches du parking du viaduc pour le lendemain. Belle vue mais nous n’avons pas pu en profiter car beaucoup de midges.

Most beautiful spot ever at sunset and dawn. 4-5 slots. Next to the road but quiet at night and with a couple small beaches. Would 100% recommend

A great spot to park up for the night but arrive before 3pm or after 9pm due to train spotters and local residents parking up to kayak. Quiet on a night, quite noisy early on a morning and loads of midges, but a safe little spot.

Se duerme bien a pesar de la proximidad de la carretera y las vistas son bonitas. Bajamos la puntuación porque a las 4:30am un coche paró y nos dispararon con una pistola de perdigones, huyendo inmediatamente después. Tendremos que cambiar la ventana de la puerta lateral, porque nos la han roto. Menos mal que no era de cristal. Esperamos que no se convierta en diversión habitual para esa gente.

Au bord du Loch, vue magnifique. Pour les fans d'Harry Potter le train passe le soir vers 19h/20h et c'est à 5min en voiture de la tombe de Dumbledore. Juste au bord de la route donc bruyant jusque 21h et a nouveau vers 7h. On peut être facilement réveillé par les phares de voiture ou camion la nuit.

Nuit très calme malgré la proximité avec la route . Pour les fans d’Harry Potter , la tombe de Dumbledore se trouve à 5 minutes de là

Stayed 1 nite 8 july,parked next to SoS phone,only 1 other van joined us room for about 6.level ground & easy access into lake if u wanted.set back about 6’ off road so some noise but after about 9pm very LiL traffic & slept till 8.30am :) great views of lake & mountains also 5min drive from Harry potter viaduct.

Endroit vraiment sympa en bord de route, pas dérangeante car peu passante Possibilité d' être de niveau, accès au Loch, vue sur des reliefs de l' autre côté de celui-ci et vue sur la voie ferrée où progresse le fameux "Jacobite" train d' Harry Potter. Nous recommandons ! 4 places confortables.

Lovely stopover traffic not to bad early HGVs running thru from 5am but still slept OK

Had a surprisingly good sleep here. parked next to SOS box (was still visible from road). Very quiet road noise after 9pm as little traffic. Nice sound of running water to fall asleep to. Only 1 other van but def space for a few. Only downside is next to road so not great for dogs.

Great spot. heard the deers and the loch was beautiful to wake up to. only 4 of us parked here

Perfect overnight stop! Right by the Loch so amazing view day and night we had the added bonus of perfect weather. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. Only one other campervan at night. Perfect location to put a canoe or paddle board into the Loch.

Nice little park up if you don’t mind the sound of traffic, lovely views over the lock and decent internet. Would stay again :)

Great spot next to the lake, road is quiet at night, great views to wake too. Little pebble beach to enter lake for a fresh dip. Not so great if you have a dog as it is just a roadside spot.

Fairly busy road till evening, lots of Midges, so hope there's a breeze or bring your bug zapper and anti-midgie creams...

Wild camped for the afternoon/night. No sign saying do not park, there was three campers in total, we had a swim in the fresh water Loch, very quiet at night, traffic became busy early morning. Would recommend

This is a beautiful wild camping spot. We had a great nights sleep and were able to go for a dip in the morning. We even spotted deer up in the hills.

A nice quiet spot. lovely views of the loch, especially at sunset. the jacobite steam train passes at around 7.39pm on the other side of the loch. easy access to the water (we took our kayaks out) and a mini stone beach area a little further round. traffic is busy during the day, but dies down later on at night. lots of midges. stayed for 2 nights as no campsites had any availability. great 4g

Nice little spot. can go for a quick swim. unfortunately others thought it was cool to leave bottles of pee and human poo down by the lake. apart from that tho it was great.

Lovely little spot for a swim. Didn’t stay overnight. Quite a busy road but should get quieter at night. Certainly big enough for a few campers if you wanted to stay

First night to our 6 day camping trip and we were struggling to find a place to park up for the night as many spots were closed due to covid. We stumbled upon this spot and by geez we were ecstatic with our find. Incredible views matched with a spot to swim, and we happened to be pleasantly surprised to see a steam train go past at around 7pm. We did encounter a bit of an issue with midgies but we just retreated back to our camper. What a brilliant way to start our trip!

Nice spot. Right next to main road so be prepared for some traffic noise. We stayed 31/01 and there was hardly any traffic after 8pm.

Certes c’est prêt de la route mais vue magnifique, pas de bruit la nuit et cerise sur le gâteau le passage du train à vapeur en fin de journée. Midges au rendez-vous si pas de vent

Stopped here for one night, it was ok for one night... Quite a busy road next to it, a fair bit of rubbish lying round too. Peaceful night, bar, a few random people pulling in /out.
