(LA4) Morecambe - 404 Marine Road East

Thanks for this. Yes, on road and cars can pass fast. But we arrived Sat 11pm, quiet, easy to find, lots of space and lovely views in morning. An excellent stop.

Fine for a night. Doesn't seem like there are many options in town. Close to the beach and shops however the cars speed past all hours of the night and if you're a light sleeper may keep you awake.

This is parking on the road. Starboard side, all gorgeous coast, portside: a bit of traffic. But we found other areas difficult with height and width restrictions in the local area (6m motorhome) and were delighted to find a spot for the night.

Very noisy cars going very fast, making van shake. Although it’s a 30 mph speed limit.

A great flat place to stay, police know, so very safe wonderful views and a fab place to wake up! Great phone reception- yes cars all night but waking up here is magical! Walking distance to all amenities, are also fab White Scar Caves and local villages worth a visit!

Lots of space and free with no restrictions. Lots of traffic racing along the road all night though.

lovely views! fair amount of traffic along marine drive all evening - if you're ok with cars passing by then this is the free seaside spot for you. Great phone signal here too.

Amazing view but impossible to sleep people racing past at speed which doesn’t seem to ease up!

Stayed 27/12/21 one night brilliant,found pub allowing dogs ,watching football happy days ,free and safe ,will stay again.

19/11/21 - Stayed a single night here. Free flat spot by the roadside. Lots of passing vehicles that rocked my van but expected that. Not one for light sleepers. Waking with sea views was nice. Quite a few other campers around.

Right on the front... Street parking... Very busy.... Didn't stop

A great parkup with regards to the views and the places to visit within walking distance, but! the constant noise from traffic that didn't appear to ease off even into the early hours made it an uncomfortable place to try and sleep. We couldn't face more than one night and moved on

What a lovely view to wake up to in the morning and for free what more do you want.

Good place . Great phone signal . We parked well down at the right of the sea front . It’s still A bit noisy parked on the road but FREE . Give it a try guys .. Recommended

Arrived on Sunday. Stayed one night. Very busy promenade during mid summer. Dogs prohibited to use main beach however can use parts at either end of main section. Slept ok however very noisy with traffic till about 1am and started again at 6am. Stunning views of beach and nice local park with more shade at Happy Mount Park.

Stunning place to stop and it’s free. We live a few miles away but drive down and stop there and wake up to views to die for.

Stayed here for a few nights with no problems. Gorgeous place right on the sea front, 2 mins to the beach and a lovely place to walk about. Good signal on both 3 and EE. Sainsbury’s a 15min walk away and handy for the laundrettes just up the road. Road was busy during the day but quiet at night and slept no problems.

Spent the night here, arrived about 4.00pm stayed through to 11.00am the next day no probs, traffic till about 10, 11ish then quiet, loads of spots, counted 11 motorhomes last night, would stay again.

Nice view and plenty of space. road busy until around 11pm and from around 7am. otherwise a peaceful night. handy for the shops with Morrisons nearby.

Free parking, right by the sea. Local shops, expected amount of traffic

Slept here perfectly well, despite the cars. No toilets close by, so without facilities, there is a slight walk. There was a row of motor homes present on the night we stayed.

Great nights sleep here. noisey traffic from 8am.

Had a lovely overnight stop here. Road noisy but settled down at night. Beautiful views. Lovely walk around mount Happy park and along prom. Pubs and shops not far. Will return. Getting harder this close to sea with no signs.

Dépannage rien d'autre, très bruyant, les voitures passent à forte vitesse, le camping-car bouge à chaque passage. Vue certes jolie mais cela s'arrête la vue qu'il n'y a rien d'autre aux alentours
