Council run carpark right on the beach front, cafe opposite, 24hr ticket available for £7.00 but the sign says no overnight stay. Spoke to the lady running the cafe and she stated that people stay overnight all the time and there's never a problem, great for kids as large sandy beach, public toilets and a fish and chip shop on the edge of the caravan park in walking distance.
Now has a 2mtr barrier in place

If you carry on past the field with the 2m barrier you come to the cafe car park with no height restriction. It was £10 for 24hrs. £5 for 3 hours. The cafe food wasn’t the best but they were very helpful and friendly. Beach is huge but you can’t swim as the water quality has been rated poor. No camping overnight and no cooking.

We stayed here a few days ago (Aug 2020) and there were signs (which looked fairly new) saying no camping. We paid for 24hour parking (£7) and thought we would play it by ear. Watched the sunset on the beach and when we returned back to the car park 3 others campers turned up so we all stayed the night without any issues. Great little spot

Don' t bother with this place cafe owner in with traffic wardens ,sign very misleading pay machine says £2 to stay over night or £7 for 24 hours, traffic warden comes during the night and puts parking tickets on vans.

Hi , we just arrived here and spoke to the lady in cafe , unfortunately they put signs up two days ago saying No Camping or Sleeping in Veichle’s over night !

Just as previuosly said an excellent place for a stopover. Watched the sunset and walked the uncrowded beach in the morning. Signs on meter do not say no overnight and accept your money for 18:00-09:00!

Not on but Right by the beach stayed one night, busy during the day but calms down later. Cafe in the car park and 24hr clean toilets with hand washing facilities outside and a beach shower. Great place to watch the sunset.

Fab spot by the beach, best sunset I've seen in a long time. Toilets open early . also cafe for food and another place open until 9 doing fish and chips and donuts etc. not far from lavender fields and a good farmers shop for local produce .

Quiet overnight stop... Lovely beach. Miles of walks... Says no sleeping in vehicles but 2 vans here and no hassle... Council man unlocks toilet around 8am.he didn't say anything about parking overnight

Nifty little place right next to the sandy beach.. Although the car park has an app to add to your phone, take £1 coins.. ?

A lovely quiet spot, £2 from 6pm-9am, toilets close of for manitence. Beautiful sunset and benches to have your dinner on, a really lovely spot. Enough room for quite a few vans in car park and on rd on the way in.

Perfect spot. Stopped on the left in a lay by approx 100m before the beach and cafe with no parking charges. Quiet night with a couple of other vans. Had breakfast in the cafe in the morning... Very good!

Quite busy and noisy . Short walk to beach but no view from car park

Great stop right by the beach. Gravel car park with no markings so easy to park a 7m MH. Stayed here 2 nights, £7 for 24hrs or £2 6pm-8am. Toilets on site open 24 hrs. Fresh water available from a tap outside the loo block.
