Well worth the stop good food 2 car parks if the pub car park is busy. Public toilet available also. Plenty of nearby walks.

ClarePowell19/06/2021Absolutely delightful and welcoming pub in a gorgeous location. Great food and beer, lovely gardens. National Trust waymarked walks starting across the road behind the 24/7 toilets. Direct access from easy road, but quiet at night. You can even book for breakfast if they have B&B guests in.

Ideal Britstop. Very friendly owner and chef. Amazing food and large portions. We’re outside on a cool evening but were given rugs. Happy to give us water. Clean toilets opposite. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Can park here free if eating and drinking. food was exceptional and the service was too. so friendly and they're dog lovers which is a bonus. when cold and eating in the gardens they provide blankets and a heater, dog are allowed inside when eating indoors is permitted. there are toilets across the road from where you park, open late and early morning, didn't notice if they closed overnight.
