Un bien sympathique camping dans la nature . Sanitaire super . Et en prime possibilité de se faire un petit feu ( matériel fourni à la demande (payant). Un endroit très proche du château …. Réserver qd même à l. Avance car places limitées
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Handy for some lovely walks & also only 10 mins into the village where you’ll find two excellent pubs with good food. We also caught the bus from outside the Crispin into Bakewell (15 mins) - timetable in the amenities area. All very clean & hosts friendly & helpful. We met up with another van lifer & booked a double pitch, which was fun. Best to book
Pre-book if possible. lt's £37,50 for the pitch plus £2 for each dog a pitch, we were in a 7,37m motorhome. The other pitches are £34. l think everything is a bit over priced. These prices include all services. Everyone must have electricity whether you need it or not. Stunning views from our pitch which was 29.
Mooi gelegen rustige boerderijcamping vlakbij Monsal Trail, goed sanitair en op loopafstand van 2 goede pubs.
Stunning views. Charge more for "premium" pitches but I kindly got a free upgrade to Pitch 33 which has a wonderful view, hardstanding and a grassy area, not overlooked by other pitches. Very clean facilities with a small honesty shop selling local produce. Warm and welcoming arrival. Walks straight from the campsite. Full 4G signal or WiFi available for a small charge.
Excellent site spotless modern facilities pitches are large & pretty flat beautiful views over the countryside. The guys who run the site couldn’t be more helpful initially booked for 3 nights stayed 8. 5 min walk into lovely village with 2 pubs & small shop easy access to Monsal trail 20 min walk to the spectacular Monsal head will definitely use again
Lovely location with a good choice of pitches and immaculate facilities. The wardens Judie and Dugald are some of the best and so helpful.
Our first outing in our campervan was to Dale Farm,what a wonder site this is. facilities were spotless and had everything you needed, pitches are well laid out and from past the ship dip the views get better the further you go up. local pub and shop were in easy walking distance. will certainly be stopping again. one slight issue is the toilets are quite high off the floor.
Great site ! Really friendly and helpful owners. Brilliant facilities nice shower block. Great walks from the site and lovely views 5 min walk down the hill to the village with 2 pubs serving good food.
Beautiful campsite with excellent clean, warm and modern facilities. Very friendly hosts and level all weather pitches. Great walks from here. All done in an environmentally friendly way, we love to support businesses like this. We paid £40 per night for the first 2 nights and £35 for the third night. Will definitely be back!
Fantastic stay at Dale Farm campsite. Great location and level, all weather pitches with a view. The sanitary facilities were the cleanest we have ever seen!
Fab campsite, excellent facilities and really well located. Just about to tuck in to a millionaire shortbread from the farm shop, which looks delicious!!
absolutely stunning little campsite. the shower block is spotless good showers and very welcoming owners. got us in last minute. perfect little getaway will definitely be back.
lovely site, good views. on a slope but hardstanding sites reasonably flat. did use chocks. clean facilities.
Great location, nice views & good facilities but too cramped to relax. The Hilltop van pitches are actually split in half and you will have a tent behind you with no access to it other than directly across your pitch. So you’ll have people walking right by your van whenever they need to go to the car/toilet/etc. Probably much better outside of school holidays. £30 a night for van & dog.
Sehr idyllischer und vor allem ruhiger Platz. Für Naturliebhaber absolut top. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr gepflegt und in sehr gutem Zustand. Im Dorf haben wir gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten gefunden (The Crispin). Das WLAN verdient seinen Namen allerdings nicht. Der Empfang ist sehr mau. Ansonsten tolle Ausgangsstation für Wanderungen. Hier macht man eigentlich alles richtig.
It’s a lovely campsite neat tidy clean. On a hill not all the pitches are level. The h-s look good but grass on the wonk. Shower and toilets spotless. However the showers are open with the toilets and the wash up makes it very cold. Push buttons which give you 5 seconds tepid water. Also not allowed to empty chemical toilet here. Eco only. Disappointed when handed over £25 for night no electric.

Just like everyone else has confirmed, the shower/toilet/communal block is second to non! Make sure to call or book if you want to stay, they are farm workers and will likely be busy but leave a message and they'll get back to you. The hosts were perfect and the farm cats are very friendly! Well worth the price of staying especially for everything included!
This site has the best shower block I've been to! The terraced pitches are a great idea as they provide your own space from other campers and are level despite being on a hillside. The fact they are on a hillside gives great views from the top of the site. There are 3 pubs a short walk away and lots of outdoor activities to see and do in the area. It's a real working farm too. A must visit site.
Beautiful place with excellent facilities and spotless showers and toilets. Its the kind of place that expects you to book in advance - we turned up unannounced and could no longer book online (for the same day). Thankfully someone eventually appeared who seemed a bit surprised at us turning up without a booking but let us stay for the night (11am checkout) for £27 for 2 ppl in a small camper. Possibly not the one if your just looking for an overnight stay and not to make use of everything site provides and surrounding areas bur great for kids and families i imagine. A press of the shower button only gives what felt like 10 seconds of water and wasn’t the hottest - but the facilities themselves were spotless and modern with the radio on as a nice added touch. Yo
Superbe endroit. Très propre, sanitaires et infrastructure parfaite. Beaucoup de place. Très accueillant, produits de la ferme. Randonnées depuis le camping, l’endroit est super pour faire du vélo, spots de parapente proches. Envie d’y revenir pour découvrir tout le coin.
