toller grosser kostenloser Parkplatz für ein paar Stunden Schlaf auf der Durchreise, perfekt eben, in den hinteren 2 Reihen Plätze versteckt und nicht einsehbar, dankeschön, dass es diese Möglichkeit noch gibt und ich appeliere an alle, dass nur autarke Camper mit eigenem WC den Platz benutzen u. nicht irgendwelche sowie keinen Müll hinterlassen, damit der Platz so erhalten bleibt
Stayed one night here, no complaints, didnt think it was that noisy but it is close to a main road. Dog walkers in the morning, there was no drama.
Great overnight stop - very quiet, a bit of road noise and a few dog walkers cars coming and going but nothing to complain about - nice and level too
Apart from noisy boy and girl racers until 11:30 , this is a great park up. if you have dogs, there are literally miles and miles of paths to walk around the nature reserve. If you do stay, please, please ,please use the cafe at the nearby Fairleld Animal Centre, support a truly worthy and very local resource....... please leave no trace of your stay.
Nice little spot tucked away. Stayed here for 1 night on a Sunday. Level gravel. Big enough for quite a few vans at any size. A few dog walkers in the morning. And bins to put your rubbish.
An excellent little park up spot. Small gravel car park by nature reserve. Minimal road noise overnight although a few cars did come in and park up, it didn’t cause us any issues. Very busy first thing Saturday morning with a Park Run type activity and then dog walkers. Space for 20-30 vehicles. No trailers or caravans allowed. Would use again.
Nice place to stop but wouldn't stay here again as noisy at night with cars going in and out.
I live a few miles away from this car park and although I have never stayed here (I have used it during the day on/off over last couple of years), I am warning users it is under threat due to apparent misuse from people that stay. PLEASE don't ruin it and LEAVE NO TRACE.
Great Place, no problem staying. However, please park with consideration to other users. Every Saturday there is a park run, 165 people run 11/06/2022 and there was an Avondale 18ft van was across 3 spaces, of a limited car park when there is plenty of room to park normally. Please park with consideration and enjoy this wonderful park, and try and visit the cafe when open, it is really good!
Beware when staying overnight at Southwick Country Park, it’s lovely during the day but at night it’s a prolific Dogging Site! I pulled up for the night, a lone female when a number of vehicles with men acting a little oddly parked up near me, I was menaced for nearly an hour by one of them with his headlights directed on my van, it was terrifying & I almost had to call the Police.
Really nice spot, plenty of parking for larger motorhomes. Busy during the day with dog walkers. pleasant quiet night. Max 23 hours stay, states no camping or caravans but does not mention overnight, so we stayed the night!
Fairly large car park for the country park. Close to the main road. 23 hours free parking, no sleeping restrictions. Cafe nearby and a small animal park (charge). No facilities beyond parking. OK for a night stop.
This is a busy country park for dog walkers in the day time. Good gravelly car park. It says you can park free for up to 23 hours. It's a nice spot to have your lunch and a walk
Next to noisy/busy road during the day until 10pm then gets quieter. Busy with dog walker I was woken at 4am. Would recommend to stay for a few nights only.
