was a fantastic spot. unfortunately our 6m coach built is just way to big. much more suited to short panel van

  • 5/5

Superbe spot à préserver. Pas beaucoup de place car très prisé des pêcheurs et promeneurs. Nous avons eu de la chance en arrivant le matin . Idéal si vous avez des vélos , le centre ville est à 20’ en passant le long de la rivière.

  • 4/5

Great location, not much space. Ideally under 6m and 3 vans

  • 4/5

Lovely view by the river, nice and quiet until about 7am with bicycles and dog walkers. Slight noise from the road overnight but hardly noticeable. No facilities. Nice place to stay.

  • 1/5

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot, but limited parking so be prepared to look elsewhere. Runners and dog walkers in the morning.

  • 5/5

Very quiet after the Dogwalkers, Cyclists and Runners went home. Train rumbles past from 5am but hardly noticeable. 6m Transit Campervan

  • 5/5

Excellent spot for the night. Very busy with cyclists and runners but calm during the night. Despite the bin being right there very much trash. We picked up what we could.

  • 5/5

Lovely place by the river with lots of walkers/cyclists but great sunsets and a quiet night. Really great spot for the night just outside Cambridge. Lots of people at daytime, noone at night. Easy parking with our 6.7m motorhome - no idea what problem the one star voter had.

il serait bien de préciser la taille des emplacements disponible ... fourgon de 6M pour nous impossible

  • 5/5

Mooi rustig plekje langs het water om de nacht door te brengen!

  • 4/5

Nice place, perfect if you want to access Cambridge on the bike of paddle Cam. Lots of dirt and dust though. Some late young locals but nothing really disturbing. They were gone by 10pm.

  • 4/5

Nice quiet spot near the water. The spaces at the end are sloping but we were somewhat level on the left just before. 5/5 4G EE. could hear the dual carriageway when outside but definitely quiet enough for sleeping. paddleboarders in the morning. would come back

  • 5/5

lovely spot at the end of a dead end road. quiet and peaceful but busy with cyclists and walkers during the day. stayed 1 night would def come back if in the area.

  • 5/5

Perfect for our lunch, we recommend staying here even for the night. Cycle path just next to it if you want to go to town

  • 5/5

Absolute gem of a spot. Only stayed the night as a stopover, but reckon it’d make a great spot for a weekend in and around Cambridge. Ample space for my Trafic, larger Motorhomes may find it a little tight if others are already parked there. Didn’t use it myself but looks like the canal path goes right into the city, great access if you have a bike, walkers may find it to be a long distance.

  • 4/5

Good spot. Can hear the busy road from inside the van which is a bit annoying. Other than that, lots of wildlife about and a nice walk from the campspot. Edit: Quite busy overnight. We were woken up twice by young people playing music, and a second vehicle in the car park.

  • 3/5

Pulled in but super busy on a Saturday. Difficult with a lwb would recommend finding somewhere else. Didn’t stay.

  • 3/5

Was a nice spot but quite busy through the day and evening, had a couple cars playing loud music and driving around the farmers field around 9pm which was abit unsettling. It settled down after 10pm but didn’t feel 100% safe !

  • 5/5

Great spot right next to the river. Nice cycle ride into Cambridge. There's a bin and a bench. Can get busy with walkers and fishermen. Quiet at night time.

  • 5/5

Nice and quiet stayed for 1 night no issues at all. Access road is good and the river cam is really nice.

  • 5/5

Loved it! Quiet, lovely to be by the river. Good walks on the level.

  • 5/5

Very quiet location, out the way from it all. Bit of distant road noise but the location is at the end of a dead end road over a train track so we didn’t see or hear any other cars past 10pm. Populist spot with runners, cyclist commuters and fishermen with the riverside location.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Spent the afternoon here and would have definitely stayed the night had I needed to.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot.... Quite a bit of foot and cycle traffic until about 9pm..... But all friendly. No issues staying overnight.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Very quiet. Police turned up while I was parked and not a word was said. Busy with runners, cyclists and dog walking locals so leave them room to park or I’m sure they’ll get upset eventually.

  • 5/5

Beautiful, quiet and very close to Cambridge. Some runners and dog walkers in the morning but still very chilled.

  • 4/5

Great little spot - the cycle into Cambridge along the river is lovely. 25 min walk to the Plough which gets a glorious sunset and river bank pints. We stayed a Sat night so this may be why but only drawbacks are - very busy morning and until dark with joggers/cyclists/walkers etc and there were cars driving up and down the road until the early hours, with one parked halfway up the road with loud music and people gathering. 3 little campers parked there for the night. Brilliant location.

  • 5/5

Beautiful- nice people ! Easy ride - walk into Cambridge - parked 8.5 m Motorhome 2 nights

  • 5/5

Lovely place. Nice walk along the river. Very quiet at night. People also very nice.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, as describe by last post. very quiet. cycled to city, very cycle friendly. well done cambridge. (now make your park and ride motorhome friendly)

  • 4/5

A very lovely and tranquil place - despite the many walkers, runners and cyclists going past. The sign post says it's 2 miles along the tow path to Cambridge - but I thought it was more like 4! We stayed 2 nights and no problems. Lots of people stopped to chat to us and no one seemed troubled by our presence.

  • 4/5

Stayed here on 11/08/2020. Lovely spot for being so close to Cambridge, we used this as a final stopover before having to be back in London early the next day, and it was great for it. Busy with runners and dog walkers at night and in the morning, but everyone friendly and chatty when they see the camper. Lovely walks along the river too. Great cell service and bins, a little noise from train tracks and roads across the fields.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot right on the river, 2 mile walk to pub along picturesque river, pub very nice, welcomes dogs, food served, opposite pub is another lovely walk along the fens, if you have a paddle board or canoe perfect! Parking spaces are limited however and quite a tight turning space although I do have a biggish van... Spent the day walking dog and generally E joying the sites, lots of cyclists though so watch out along the riverside path... Highly recommend ?

  • 5/5

Quiet, some joggers in the morning from houses close by
