Beautiful location. Kilmore Quay is festooned with “No Overnight Parking” signs and height barriers but there are two spots here suitable for big campervans. One beside the barrier at the small car park and the second in the “Bus” parking space (obviously you would have to move on early in the morning). Check out the Saltee Chipper for excellent (not cheap) Fish and Chips. Public toilets in the village - “Motorhome Users please do not dump your waste”. Just up the road there is a community-run space where you can empty your cassette toilet, drain your grey water and refill your fresh water. Finally, a visit to the Saltee Islands is a must - must be prebooked. Fantastic day out of the weather is good.
