Does the job but it’s popular among teenagers in silly cars who enjoy banging choons. During the day this elevated viewpoint offers a superb view down the steeply descending rural terrain into an impressive vista of the reservoirs and the southwestern suburbs of Birmingham. Park with your side door facing the view and it’s a good coffee stop. But overnights are for heavy sleepers only.
Not a good place to sleep. Road quite busy all night and lots of cars stopping well into the night - lots of loud music and dogging! Plus someone threw eggs at us! according to locals it’s a pretty notorious spot near some rough areas of Birmingham. There’s parking by a reservoir about 4 mins down the road which seems like a quieter bet if you’re wanting to stay in the area
