Schöner Platz auch am Morgen schön zum Sitzen. Nachts evtl. ein paar Autos mit jungen Leuten aber alle nett und harmlos. morgens viele Hundegänger aber das stört kaum.

Bank holiday weekend perhaps not best time. Boy racers & groups of very noisy young people having a razz - & why not? Apart from us they weren’t disturbing anyone. Also our sat nav tried to take us up an unpacked v narrow road. Make sure you put in mill lane or deacon park. Lovely views & flattish parking if you don’t mind the noise until 2am

Easy to get to from the m6. Lovely views both day and night. Was rather busy with other cars that were coming and going but not too noisy and we were not disturbed at all.
wandering27/05/2022Rather a lot of comings and goings throught the evening up to midnight. But was not disturbed. Great spot for dog walking and views for miles from walks. car park has trees on 2 sides. level in middle of car park. OK stopover if you need to walk the dog.

Good half way spot for an overnight stop for us heading to the Lakes, short drive from the m6, takeaways and pub nearby. Empty when we arrived. Large rural car park with good views. Odd cars arrived after dark, didn’t bother us but hung around with engines running on and off till the early hours. Maybe Saturday is not the best night for a peaceful stop! Lots of dog walkers in the morning.

Scenic spot. Cafe 500m walk away (unsure of opening hours). Busy throughout the night (on a Friday) with people driving up to the viewpoint at all hours. Busy in the morning with dog walkers.
