Really big layby, so close to the motorway which is convenient but it would be noisy and busy. Was empty when I passed but imagine lots of lorries use it at night. I would travel a bit further for something nicer but if desperate it would certainly work just fine.
Needed somewhere to stop coming back from Scotland. Traffic noise quite loud and the odd car pulling in to eat there McDonald's. Got the ear plugs in so wasn't too bad.
