Ruhiger Übernachtungsspot mit self checkin. WC, Duschen sauber. Chemietoiletten-Entsorgung möglich, aber leider keine Dumpingstation. Wasserbezug möglich. Da im Tessin freistehen verboten ist, ist dieser offizielle Womo-Stellplatz im oberen Maggiatal perfekt.
08.10.23 alle Plätze durch personengebunden der Besucher der Eishalle belegt. 80 m dahinter ebener Platz auf de Wiese. Ist ok. 25 sfr finde ich zu teuer. Duschen und WC offen nur wenn in der Halle Betrieb ist.

Quiet place on the parking lot of an ice stadium with toilets. The river Maggia is just a few steps away, several occasions to refresh oneself. Good starting point for hikes. Self-registration in book and payment in letterbox at the entrance of the ice stadium.
Tranquilla area di sosta a Prato Sornico accessibile anche a veicoli grandi (la strada ha un divieto per i veicoli di oltre m 10 di lunghezza). Nelle vicinanze: sentiero sensoriale, parco giochi, cabina telefonica con libri, ristorante e negozietto fornito con molti prodotti locali e biologici. Da questo punto partono diversi sentieri. Pagamento in contanti. Sul posto vi è un defribillatore.
