Out of necessity it was okay… beach is nice. The parking is a parking spot, very noisy, speeding cars and even though volunteers cleaned it, peolple have thrown their rubbish on this place… ok to catch an early ferry at Kennacraig.

When we were there we were parked with 2 campers & 2 MH (ours is 8m) & there was still room for some cars. Short walk to rocky beaches & view point. Amazing view to Isle of Gigha and Jura & the sun disappears behind the peaks of Jura. Only down side is traffic noise. It does quieten at night slightly & gets busier at 0530/0600. The layby is kept tidy by volunteers who trim back the hedges etc.
Stunning spot still, maintained by the locals, thanks to volunteers. Seal enjoyed a swim then a breakfast on the rocks in the sun. Stayed overnight, nice & peaceful. A short walk to the rocky beach, not suitable for the infirm or wheelchairs. Keep it clean. Only a bin here.
Nice place to stay the night or just stop for a cuppa, you can stretch your leg with a nice walk along the coast, great views
Still a beautiful spot to stopover at. Seals & Giga with sunset can't beat that. mowed area for walking to the beach & part of the coastal walk. Any with mobility be aware it's not recommended. There is a bin for rubbish, so no excuse. bin it it take it with you, including your dog poop.
Great spot! Was quiet at night, a few cars passing in the day. Beautiful beaches.
Lovely spot, quiet at night
Cracking over nighter, right next to beach, no seals at this time of year, vehicles passing by during day but quiet at night, defo come back, lev nowt behind
Lovely views from a massive laybay. Two camper parking spots and woke up to seals on the rocks opposite
Tolle Aussicht und Fußweg zum Strand. Wenig Verkehr auf der Straße
Perfect views. The road is close but quiet enough at night. Two reserved spots for campervans. We were the only ones staying for the night. Free and felt safe. Bonus to spot seals in the water.
Roadside layby, so some traffic noise. Not the busiest of roads and quieter after it died down later in the evening. Dedicated bays for campers, so clearly permitted, and no signs with restrictions - just one encouraging responsible camping. Good views to seaward and the islands. No facilities.
Lovely spot.2 spots as stated although a third came to try.Very busy traffic in road & car park in day but quiet from 9pm.Saw a lovely sunset & a couple of seals sunbathing nearby.Watch out for quite large snails that come to grass verge where the campers are.Don't want to accidentally run them over. 1 bin no services.Did msg nearby campsite to ask if we could service MH for a fee, rcvd no reply.
Nice little lay-by - 2 official camper spots. fab walk down onto seal point. 4 seals there when we stayed. on a clear day there are fab views of the Paps of Jura and the ferries crossing over to Islay every couple of hours or so. Road is busy during the day but very quiet at night till around 8am Lovely spot!
Great stopover 2 ' camper' marked spaces which makes you feel welcome gorgeous views the road is noisy during the day but quiet over night lovely beach and views over jura people need to take their rubbish. this aire is run by volunteers so people need to be more respectful of this
We parked here for one night after getting the late boat back to the mainland. It’s a lay-by that accepts camping. There is lines marked out on the road for campers to park. There are no facilities other than bins. Road was a little noisy as expected
beautiful spot. Looked after by volunteers. Place clean, keep clean.
