We came back again. Now it's all renovated and has solar power. This place is truly very special.

Resumen no volve

We have used this place since it opened Same positive remarks as others However now it’s being run by the French camping car net work it’s lost its showers and toilets and a lot more pitches for more money than last time but with less amenities ! €20 Before it had a friendly atmosphere but now feels sanitised. Just before you enter the campsite there is free parking (no overnight). Just saying ?

Muito bom. Todos os serviços para autocaravanas. 20€ noite, tranquilo.

I really liked this Parkup only a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach and shops and I had a peaceful nights sleep here. Yes there is ongoing works but would definitely stop here again if in the area

Luz, Lagos, Burgau magnifiques a vélo. L'accueil y est très sympathique. Merci

Nice spot to spend a few nights. People are very friendly. There is some construction being done but it didn’t bother us. The pitches are nothing special but large enough. It’s a 15 min walk to the center of Burgau (lovely town). There were quite a lot of insects (normal in a rural area) so make sure to use repellent when sitting outside and if possible use bug screens when opening doors/windows.

On y va facilement à pieds.

A site in a quiet area. Nice stroll to the beach & cycle to Luz. €19 cash for two persons without electricity. Washing machine €5. The showers are hot. In my opinion could do with a bit of money being invested into the site.

Stayed for one night in a microcamper. Close to the town (bring a torch for the night, the road back is dark!), good size space, excellent hot showers!

Stopped for 2 nights. Such a lovely gem of a site with such friendly and helpful staff. The showers were hot and the washing machines were great. Only a 5 minute cycle ride or 15minute walk on to Burgau, which is gorgeous. Hope to return soon one day.

Excellent value for money. Calm, organized place with adequate facilities. Proper service and very convenient location, close to the beach and the village. I recommend it.

We really liked this campsite. It’s very peaceful and located near a charming village, with beautiful walks along the cliffs. Hardly any cars pass by, which makes it wonderfully quiet. We were lucky with the weather and appreciated being able to choose our own spot - the pitches are big enough. The showers were good and free to use. The dryer wasn’t working and there’s no drinking water

Danke.

Well situated and a nice ambiance but... - the facilities are in a poor state of repair - the site isn't well drained so many pitches are waterlogged after rain - the price of €13 is fine if you don't need any facilities but add €3 pp per shower and €5 for electricity and it's somewhat overpriced It would be so lovely if the owners put a bit of time, effort and money into updating it.

Staff amable. Precio Ok.

Work in progress for terrain. But friendly staff and good location. Everything you need is here.

It’s great to have a campsite like this in Burgau which provides easy access to Lagos, Luz, Burgau and Sagres. The place looks like it is still under development and we were quoted €17.00 for one night in December which we considered excessive compared to other sites we have stayed at so we moved on. We wish the owner well and suggest a recalibration of fees might attract more winter guests.

Annars ok!

Good site to stay near one of the last seaside towns to have NOT been completely ruined by commercial tourism. Flat pitches on gravel. Only negative is that the owners micro manage the cost. To stay is €15, but if you want to have a shower or even use their toilets it’s another €3 per person per night….and it’s monitored.

this year Is Better of the last one. they do a lot of progress. Thanks Maria

Nice plače, clean, good price.

Camping provides everything you may need! Showers, washing machine and ropes to dry your clothes, sink for dish washing, book shelf with chill zone but mainly peace and quiet. If you need cables to charge- they’re also super happy to borrow. Location is great too, 10min walk from super cute Burgau.

We slept here due to the good connection. Unfortunately, our spot was directly next to the bathroom and black water. Thus, the smell was really annoying. A lid for the black water would be good. The showers are old and dirty on the floor. The toilets were fine. All in all it didn’t feel very hygienic.

Sanitair was in orde. Enkel cash betalen.

Expensive for the offered conditions. Very windy also.

Wir haben uns hier mega wohl gefühlt. Ansprechpartner wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Da unser Morelo mit den vorhanden 6 A nicht hingekommen ist (Klimaanlage, etc), hat er uns an einen anderen Stromkreis mit 10 A angeschlossen. Wirklich top!

it has all the services you need and the hosts are really nice and helpful.

Very good camping spot for your RV. Friendly people and clean showers en toilets. You can walk to the beach in 15 minutes which is very beautiful!

Great location, close to the market and the beach. We did bike trips to Lagos, Luz, and Sagres. Simple place but very clean. We will come back for sure.

Too much expensive !!! Toilets and showers must be renovated. We don't recommend this P4N.

Schöner Stellplatz mit allem was man braucht. Beim wunderschönen Strand ist man in 15 min. Wir sind zwei nächte geblieben. Das indische restaurant macht sehr gutes Tikka masala

Great camping, but very busy. I recommend to arrive early. Town is near by, 10min walk. Only downside that dryer was not working, but they are awaiting for a part to arrive to fix ir.

Rustige plek. We hebben hier 2 nachten heerlijk geslapen. Douche en toilet waren warm en netjes. Vriendelijk personeel. Dorpje Burgau en het strand dichtbij. Je kon makkelijk in en uitrijden. Wij hebben in Lagos een kayaktour gemaakt. Aanrader!

needs some £££ spending on this site, the showers were hot and had fresh water, grey waste ( at the far end of the site ) and black waste. we went in the rain and the yellow stone underfoot got trod into the van. receptionist was stuck in a little open office in the cold, I felt sorry for her. €20 for pitch, electricity and toilets was fine for the basic look of the place. very peaceful slerp

Lovely friendly staff. All flat stands. Toilets cleaned regularly. Showers aren't fully private, only some of the glass is opaque. Fresh water and Grey water aren't clearly sign posted.

Nice place to spend the night. Wc is clean. Staff is nice. The puddles near the vans need to be sorted with more gravel. Possible to walk to the village. 20€ in offseason is a bit expensive

full of puddles and that's fine...but the mold inside the common facilities is not a good sign, especially since it's still expensive as a place to sleep

its location to the beach & town is great. it is true the site is a little basic but it's clean & the staff member was nice and efficient. the power columns can be a little far from some of the pitches, so i would recommend looking at these before you choose your pitch (28) ours only reached the nearside of the van. we enjoyed a lovely night & felt that €20 for all services & elec was fair.

Nette, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, 20,00 € ziemlich teuer.

Great little site, not 5 star facilities but perfectly adequate, toilet block always clean and plenty of hotwater, + washing machines & dryer. Very nice friendly staff who speak good English. 10 minute walk into Burgau, lovely little village with a couple of shops, bars & restaurants. We cycled into Pria de Luz, Lagos & Salema, all fairly close by, walkable distances for the resolute but a full day out. We were here for 4 nights in winter and had a rainy night, the next day several pitches were covered in standing water. Not been here in summer but there’s very little shade. All in all, highly recommended. €17 without electricity. Electricity can cut off .€20 with.

Very basic and a bit overpriced for what you get. Gravel/clay surface with ponding water when it rains. Clean toilet and shower but only a communual changing area for shower. However, shower nice and hot. Ok site for a couple of nights.

Pretty simple facilities, but works out great. Close to the small village Burgau which is really pretty. Possibly a bit expensive for what it is and the area, but on the other hand the showers are free with hot water and good pressure, so not that big of a deal.

A lovely place to stay. Started with 2 nights ended up with 6. The town is just lovely and the coastal walk to Luz great. The showers are basic although good enough, and when it rains, the area is poorly drained on some pitches. I would absolutely come again.

Nice and flat pitches, which are quite large. Sanitary facilities are kept very clean. A perfect starting point for biking along the coast and the small villages around. Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed. Payed 17 euros for 1 person with electricity.

So macht Camping Spaß.

This is a great place. friendly welcome, flat and easily accessible, even for the biggest MHs. it has all services and a day parking option if you just want to visit the village and beach without staying overnight. very quiet sleep.

We couldn’t find it. Navigation took us to an empty field, Google maps don’t show any sign of a camping site around there. Cruised the street all along, nothing. If it exists then at least their signs are no good.

Alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Hemos parado a llenar agua y vaciar poti... 7€ lo encuentro CARISIMO!!!

friendly, peacefull, strategic spot, 5 min' from the beach and town center by feet. John comes back, namasté

Een prima plaats om te staan. Ruime plaatsen. Strategische ligging tussen Lagos en Luz. Rustig.

Well what a lovely find friendly staff and the best shower I have had all holiday hot water there is 2 showers and very clean with a shower head you can actually move lovely and peacfull we loved it

This place is ok but I would agree with the other review that that's way too expensive for what it is, especially in off season. €20 with elec is more expensive than most campsites at this time of year.

Netter Empfang. Nachts sehr dunkel.

Nice quiet little camper park within walking distance of Burgau.Pedro & his team are very friendly & accommodating & continue to make improvements to this lovely little site. We’ve had two long stays here over the last 18 months & have seen many improvements in this time. Clean showers, nice dishwashing/laundry area Good size pitches, good electricity. We will continue to return to this hidden gem

A hidden Gem in the countryside on the edge of Beautiful Burgau,10 mins walk through the traditional fishing village to the stunning beach.Lovely friendly family run site, peaceful quiet,bathrooms,washing/ drier/hand washing/washing lines.Chillout area, hot water for washing up.picnic area.Fantastic restaurants and shops in the village.Great cycle and walking trails in the area.Great place.

guter platz, 1 km bis Burgau. ruhig, nette Betreiber

Nice place, friendly staff, simple bathroom, but always clean. We were going to stay one night which lasted five days, good restaurants and the beach very close by, we did everything on foot, a very positive point. Repeating.

We were here for two nights and we loved it, I can't understand how they can find it expensive if all services are included in the price, in all other camping sites you pay 1/2€ for 3 minutes of water, ther you can take as many showers as you want , carry water as many times as you want, I loved

We stayed here when it was raining. Never again. Standing water everywhere. Pictures are of when it was new and not now. It is now red mud. Most expensive place we stayed on the Algarve. Not worth 17€ .

Good value, well maintained site, with friendly staff. Shower facilities modern and clean. 10 minutes walking distance to the pretty village of Burgau. Seems relatively new, when trees have grown in over the next few seasons and there is more shade this place will be excellent. Very peaceful.

Affordable, clean, quiet. We had a good sleep here, took a nice shower and did our laundry before heading out the next day. Guy working at the front was nice and helpful. We called ahead and he kept a spot for us. They close the entry at 6pm but you can still go in and out until 10pm with the van.

Sehr schöner Stellplatz mit allem was man braucht.

Schlechter Internetempfang. Duschen sind gut.

lovely place and a short walk to the beach and burgau town with a few restaurants and cafes. can stay here longer but we only stayed one night with our camper. good facilities but the pitches aren't that private so it may be a little close if all are taken (eg high season). otherwise great

Sehr guter Stellplatz mit allem was man braucht.

Posteggi larghi e in piano. Se tornassi in zona farei tappa sicuramente qui!

Nice and cozy camp with all options to stay. They have places for tents, campervans and motorhomes. Price was 29€ for place for motorhome with electricity and 5 people. You can checkout till 22-23 depends on day/weekend. I recommend it to all.

Buena gente!!

Value for money. Very nice place to stay for the night - everything is included in the price. Showers can be an issue, but if you’re use to shared showers in gym it is no problem. Showers are in the small building with toilets - there are separate male and female. Very nice staff

Great place and service.

Lugar recomendable para visitar Burgau, a 10 minutos andando. Pueblo encantador y una playa estupenda. Zona AC adecuada, limpieza y personal excelente.

Very nice and tidy campsite, friendly owner. Very clean bathrooms. Only thing thats missing is shadow.

Wäsche waschen geht super schnell in 23 Minuten.

Nice staff, good place.

Total schöner Stellplatz mit allem, was man braucht!

Immer wieder gerne!

Very friendly staff. Nice location and facilities. Will gladly come back. Peace and quiet.

What a great site. Only opened recently Set in open countryside. Five minutes walk to the beautiful town of Burgau and less than two minutes from the bus stop to Praia de Luz. Lovely clean ablutions. Great showers with plenty of hot water. There's no charge. €15 for a stand and all services except electricity, which is €3 a night. Lovely, informative owners on hand whenever needed.

This is a great site, not the prettiest but very reasonable cost. Has all the facilities and 10mins walk to the beach and village. They are making improvements all the time, so the site will become even better. I recommend and will return.

Prima plek.

Ok place for me. Only one toilet seat for men. 2 showers.

Obrigada

Sehr gute Lage, 900 m vom Strand.

15€/nuit. Manque de civisme pour certaines personnes… Merci de rendre ce lieu possible !:)

Great location, many restaurants and market just a few minutes walk away, as well as a beautiful beach. Very helpful and friendly attendants. Very clean bathrooms and facilities, we can take a good shower. We will be back.

A private motorhome stopover, took card payment €14 when we arrived, some touring caravans on our stay a couple of weeks ago. Marked pitches quite small, gravel, use of good hot showers, toilets, all very clean, dishwashing but cold water, washing machine we didn’t use or elec. Fresh water fill & dump area. 5 mins walk to village of Burgau with eateries, beach etc.

(2 nuits: 30/04 & 1/05) Parfait, staff sympathique. Check out à 17h.

A quiet peacefull location, with a friendly relaxed feel.. Good clean services . shower area is little tight, beware the glass doors are see through. but great to have hot water. A short ten minute walk to the charming fishing village and awesome beach. We did 2 days cliffside walking. (fishermans trail) either side of the village.intended to stay one night and ended up staying three! recommended.

Heel vriendelijk onthaald.

17h checkout, top!

Lovely little campsite. The people running it seemed very warm and genuine. The facilities were spotlessly clean. There is an efficient washing machine (5 euros, no powder needed) and tumble dryer (from 1 euro, we used 2 on a rainy day). Checkout was 5pm which seemed super flexible and allowed us a long bike ride to Sagres and a visit to beautiful Boca do Rio beach.

Netter Empfang, gut organisiert, ordentliche V/E. Preis/Leistung i.O.

Molto Molto consigliato

100% recommended. Stayed 3 nights, on a huge meadow (we don’t need electricity), very peaceful. Amenities top. Nice bike trips feasible from there (don’t miss out on Figueira Beach, naturist section on right side!). Cute village of Burgau a short walk, with good restaurants, sourdough pizza excellent! We moved on to Figueira camp, had british radio sound during the day, dog barking at night there.

Nice place and the staff was really friendly. I forgot my clothes in the shower and they immediately helped me! Great service!

Amazing little site, such a good price and a really lovely atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The local beach isn’t dog friendly, but you can drive 9 mins to Praia da Boca Do Rio and dogs are allowed there! We only came for one night and decided to stay 2 :)

Beautiful and very quiet spot. no backing dogs at noght. toilets and showers are clean, good places. I will definetly come back here!

friendly, nice, beautiful spot, and easy to walk to town. showers are unreliable though.

Great campsite very close to a fantastic beach 10 minutes by bike and probably 20 minutes walk. Pitches are of a good size and you don't feel crammed in. We had EHU while we were there but did not use the showers. The toilet and shower block did look very clean. The owners were working throughout the day cleaning or maintaining the site. would definitely stay again. 9th & 10th April 2024.

Best cost/benefit in Algarve! We stayed here as support to visit the region, and we were delighted with the great service, wide and flat spaces, impeccable services and cleanliness. Great option to spend more time during winter or summer. Very close to the Burgau town (10 minutes walk), with a charming village, great restaurants and wonderful beach. Close to the best tourist attractions.

Sehr nette Betreiber.

Waren 2 Nächte dort. Hatte stark geregnet, daher bildeten sich stellenweise Pfützen. Duschen und Klo waren sauber. Wasserdruck in Ordnung. Längere Wartezeit bis warmes Wasser. Frischwasser auffüllen, Grauwasser + Müll Abgabe, Waschen möglich. Betreiber sehr freundlich. Er meinte, in Sommermonaten sollte man vorher reservieren, da ab 18 Uhr alles voll ist. 14€ für 1 Van und 2 Personen ohne Storm.

great spot, good price. basic facilities with quality washer and dryer

prima plek vriendelijke mensen.

Stellplatz ebenerdig, geschottert & bepflanzt.

Einfacher Platz, steiniger etwas grober Belag. Duschen mit Übung die Einstellung okay. Betreiber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Konnte privates Wi-Fi 2 x nutzen für Zoom-Meeting. Historischer Teil und Strand ca. 1,7 km. Günstig nach Luz und Lagos, Bus Nr. 4 optimal. Toller Wanderweg nach Luz ca. 5 km an Küste vorbei. Preis etwas hoch aber angemessen. Entsorgung nach heftigen Regen defekt.

Sehr ruhiger schöner Platz, super nette Besitzer!

This is a really great pitch! it's not even a year old, so of course, there are still things that are "under construction." Please bear in mind that showering is nearly impossible if someone else is showering at the same time- I stood there for several minutes waiting in vain for water :) I really hope this is improved in the future, otherwise it really is one of my favorite pitches in Portugal!
