Excellent place to spend the night. Very quiet after dark and level ground.
Grand parking en haut des collines, juste à la frontière de Northumberland et du comté de Durham. Debout dur plat. Pas beaucoup de circulation pendant la journée et pratiquement rien la nuit. Idéal pour une escale pour une nuit.
Large parking bay at the top of the fells, right on the border of Northumberland and County Durham. Flat hard standing. Not much traffic during the day and virtually nothing at night.
Great for a stopover for a night.
Großer Parkplatz am oberen Rand der Fjells, direkt an der Grenze zwischen Northumberland und County Durham. Flach hart stehend. Tagsüber wenig Verkehr und nachts so gut wie nichts. Toll für einen Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht.

Bazzacamper2108/07/2023Great spot, only people here. Bit windy at night due to it being exposed location but not an issue. Road quiet with few vehicles passing. Farmer passed a couple times on quad at night going about his business but no issues. Would happily use again for a night stay
wandering10/06/2022Quiet and undisturbed night. A bit windy and exposed but OK in June! Chatted to cyclists and farmer painting fence in the morning. Felt safe and accepted. OK signal on EE.

Good place next to the road, which wasn't busy at all. Beginning of April, it was just a bit cold in the night, so use your heating. beautiful sunrise in the morning and 4G Signal

Stunning location and had a great night sleep. However woke to the same motorbike passing multiple times, eventually stopped and took a picture of my van. By the time I stepped out of my van to confront he left. Approx one hour later a matt, dark grey tow truck arrived and reversed in an attempt to hitch up to the van. Be careful out there people.

Had a great nights sleep here, so quiet. Quite a bit of rubbish around which we picked up. It was a cold but clear night, sky was covered in stars. Good signal. Definitely recommend.

Convenient spot just off a quiet main road. Flat ground and very good phone signal as a bonus.

Great spot, beautiful views. Hardly a car passed the whole time we was there, and amazingly one of the only places we had 3G signal in the area so that worked out perfectly too. Flat level ground, would highly recommend. Everything great about van life!

Really quiet- we had it to ourselves and barely a car drove by all night. if it hadnt been so misty I think the views might be good too!
