Certainly no view of the lake from either of the two carparks. Walking up to the castle, that was closed so only a short walk around outside is possible, you can see the lake and very nice too. However, that seemed about it. Very quiet rather too close to private buildings for us so, we chose to not stay.
Lovely spot for a stopover next to a castle ruin and a nice walk around the edge of Lough Erne. The car park is next to someone’s house but the owner is friendly and popped over for a chat. There’s a second parking spot just down the hill by the cottage which is a small museum, though both it and the castle were locked.
Spend a night here, there were a couple of benches to cook on. No traffic during the night but is located next to someone’s house. Great little spot.
