this spot doesn't seem to be reachable at the moment. They put chopped wood in front of it. We stayed at the other spot. but driving here there was also a spot on the left side of the road as an alternative.
Une très petite parcelle de gravier de lave, entourée de suffisamment d'arbres pour bloquer la lumière de la boutique de miel et d'huile à proximité, qui est plate et assez bien cachée. Il est adjacent à l'ancienne maison de ferme qui a évité de justesse d'être engloutie par les coulées de lave de 1992.
A very small patch of lava gravel, surrounded by enough trees to block out the light from the near by honey and oil boutique, that's flat and quite well hidden. It's adjacent to the old farm house that narrowly avoided being engulfed by the 1992 lava flows.
Ein sehr kleines Stück Lavakies, umgeben von genügend Bäumen, um das Licht aus der nahe gelegenen Honig- und Ölboutique auszublenden. Es ist flach und gut versteckt. Es grenzt an das alte Bauernhaus an, das es kaum vermied, von den Lavaströmen von 1992 verschlungen zu werden.
Una piccolissima chiazza di ghiaia lavica, circondata da alberi a sufficienza per bloccare la luce dal vicino negozio di miele e olio, che è piatto e abbastanza ben nascosto. È adiacente alla vecchia casa colonica che a malapena evitava di essere inghiottita dai flussi di lava del 1992.

xav0516/08/2022Le spot aurai pu être sympa, mais c’est à ce jour une déchèterie. Il y a un gros tas d’ordures juste au meilleur emplacement.

Intentamos entrar pero estaba lleno de basura por todos sitios, no como en la foto. Alguien ha debido dejar lo que no quería allí... :(

Le spot est toujours accessible et il y avait des déchets (principalement des mouchoirs en papier). Nous n'y avons pas dormi mais l'endroit semblait correct pour une nuit.

Als wir im Oktober 2020 da parken wollten lag alles voll mit Abfall wie auf einer Müllhalde. Wir sind weitergezogen auf den Campingplatz in Zaffarena Etnea. Einfach aber sauber.

We found this little patch, by chance, after deciding that the flood lit carpark near by was not for us. It is quiet and hidden from the road. There are far too many discarded tissues but the access to the lava flow and walking trails is excellent. The ground is firm.
