Beautifully peaceful, we have driven here at night from the city then leave early in the morning for a few nights. The scent from the trees is amazing, you can near nothing but birds. We saw one other car one morning but that was it.
super quiet and calmful (especially as it is just outside the city), probably the cleanest place we have seen in whole cyprus, shadow all day, at daytime a handful cars coming and going
Solo female traveller, felt safe here. 1 stay overnight. Hikers and cyclists pass by, no problem. Forest warden spoke to me in the morning but did not ask me to leave. No prohibition signs. Next to a military base so can hear some shouting for drills, but doesn't disturb. Didnt see any services.
Merci pour ce partage. Nous y avons passé une nuit calme même si nous avons eu droit à un concert d'oiseaux le matin. On entend aussi la route en bruit de fond mais c'est le prix à payer pour être si proche de Nicosie. A part quelques piétons nous n'avons vu personne. Il y a un petit lac à 300m mais avec trop de moustiques. Il y a une poubelle et c'est relativement propre.
Ne pas hésiter à s’enfoncer un peu plus loin dans la clairière en passant entre les rangées d’eucalyptus, très calme et départ de nombreuses balades a pied ou à vélo.
