4h for free in off season. Very full the parking. I almost didn’t want to come to avingnon because of all the burglary I read in other comments. (Non the less, it’s very unique town) I was very nervous to leave the van alone, but was all good when we came back. I also saw authorities, so maybe this why the burglars don’t go here?
A good parking option if you want to visit the city. We parked for free (first 4 hours are free) and felt save because there was police right infront at the tribunal this morning. Generally it is a bit a sketchy area, lot of rubbish, some people living in tens at the end of the parking lot ecct. But everything was good and there seam to be a lot worse parking areas if you read other spots comments.
Setiembrr, Parking para no mas de 6m, nosotros aparcamos con una de 7,5m pero estuvimos muy poco rato, primeras 4h gratis(hay que sacar tiket).
Guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Stadtbesuch. Man ist in nur wenigen Minuten innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Fühlte mich sicher direkt am Gerichtsgebäude zu parken. Zwischen 12-14 Uhr ist das parken frei. Somit kann man die evt. 4 Gratisstunden noch verlängern.
Perfetto per visitare la Avignone in giornata. Un po' sporco. Vicino alla sede della polizia. 20 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Strisce bianche, 9 settembre e non ho pagato.
Haben sonntags kostenlos geparkt. Ist allerdings nicht hinter einer Polizei, sondern hinter einem Gericht. Dachten erst, es lohnt sich nicht. Wenn man ca. 10 min Fußweg zur Innenstadt geht - wird man belohnt.
Sehr guter Parkplatz um Avignon zu besichtigen. Standen hier nach 19.00 Uhr, demnach nichts gezahlt. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar:) Avignon auch eine klare Empfehlung! Haben hier nicht übernachtet.

Hay bastantes plazas y las 4 primeras horas son gratuitas. El centro de la ciudad esta a 15 minutos andando. Aún así es una zona de poco paso en esta época del año y no nos inspiró mucha confianza.
A 10 minutos del centro andando, enfrente de una comisaría, bastantes plazas. Nuestra AC de 7,3 m la aparcamos. Fácil entrada y salida de la ciudad. No pernoctamos.

Not far from the city centre, 20 min walk away from the Palais de Papes. The parking bays are quite short, not easy to find a suitable place for larger campers (ours is ~7 m long) . Parking is free from 17 december to 2 january.
Buen lugar para aparcar y bastante seguro (comisaría de policía justamente enfrente). A 3 minutos a pie de la ciudad amurallada y a 20 del centro histórico. Aparcamos gratis por 4 horas y pagamos 1'80€ por 2 horas más. A partir de las 19:00 es gratis. Autocaravana de 6 metros con portabicicletas aparca perfectamente.
Nous nous sommes gares avec notre cc de 7,5m en marche arrière sans problème (certes la cellule dépassait bcp sur le trottoir...). Gratuit les 4 premières heures. Une navette électrique gratuite amène dans l'hyper centre.
Prima plek voor een dagje centrum. Met een camper van 6,5 m konden we met overhang op het looppad erachter prima staan. Parkeerplaats stond vol op een maandagochtend.
Nah und kostenlos (im September), um sich Avignon anzuschauen. Wir haben uns hier auch sehr sicher gefühlt.

Muy buen parking para visitar la ciudad. Bien de precio (2 horas gratis entre las 12:00 y las 14:00), bien vigilado por los policías que salen constantemente de los juzgados. Fácil acceso al centro turístico de Avignon en un paseo muy agradable con muchos restaurantes para elegir

Perfect Spot for a tour to Avignon (if your Van is not longer than 6m) - directly at the palace of justice, near to the city and not to expensive.
Wir parkten hier mit unserem Renault Boxer (Höhe 3m) für einen Tagesausflug in die Innenstadt von Avignon. Super Platz. An einem Donnerstag sehr viel frei. Direkt an der alten Stadtmauer. Wenig Gebühren. Sonntag und Feiertag kostenfrei.
In summer first 4 hours €6.40 total, thereafter (even 1 min) €25. Looks well placed to visit centre but 4 hours very limiting.
Ich bin wirklich mehr als begeistert von diesem Parkplatz! Kostengünstig (zahlten 2,40€ für 3 Stunden, 1. Stunde war gratis weil man erst ab 14 Uhr zahlt) und wirklich gleich um die Ecke von der Altstadt und dem wirklich sehenswerten Avignon (paar Minuten). Es war nicht gleich ein Parkplatz frei aber nach einigen Minuten warten, wurden wir belohnt. Keine Höhenbeschränkung!
Perfekter Parkplatz um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Preis-leistung stimmt.

Comodissimo per visitare la città, alle spalle della stazione e di fronte al palazzo di giustizia. da settembre 4 ore gratis, perfette per una bella passeggiata. nessun servizio, perfetto per una sosta.
Parkplatz sehr stadtnah jedoch direkt an der JVA. Nur zum Parken geeignet. 4€/3h Parkgebühren waren ok.

On s’est garé pour visiter la ville. Nous avons laissé le CC entre 11h et 17h et nous n’avons pas eu des problèmes :)
Good location to park (4hours free) for a walk around Avignon. Just big enough for our 6m motorhome.
