This photo shows the entrance to the car park on the other side of the bridge. The marked car park is on the eastern side of the reservoir to the east of the road. The usual "no overnighting" rule applies. There is a smaller parking area a little further towards Holne, where I have seen the occasional overnight van.
Slight slope, no signals, great walks and beautiful lake and fishing
Little gem. Lovely walk around the reservoir in the morning. Technically speaking there is no camper sleeping on Dartmoor and this stopover felt very visible from the road. 2 mins carpark clean in the morning eased our guilt.
