This is a beautiful, quiet, serene spot to park up in day or night. Go up the steps, go right, the gardens and river are beautiful and can be seen from the footpath. Bins are available for dog mess. Ground is even.
Lay-by (gravier dur et herbe) à côté de la rivière avec marches et rampe pour fauteuil roulant / poussette sur le sentier au bord de la rivière. Zone également bonne pour les pique-niques. Très joli quartier. Place pour environ 5 grands camping-cars et plusieurs voitures. Pas de restrictions. Aucun service. Poubelle et poubelle pour chien. Faire le ménage. Calme la nuit.
Lay-by (gravel hardstanding & grass) next to river with steps & wheelchair/pushchair ramp onto riverside path. Area also good for picnics. Very pretty area. Room for about 5 large motorhomes plus several cars. No restrictions. No services. Litter & dog-poo bin. Clean. Quiet at night.
Rastplatz (Schotter & Gras) neben dem Fluss mit Stufen & Rollstuhl- / Kinderwagenrampe auf den Flussweg. Bereich auch gut für Picknicks. Sehr schöne Gegend. Platz für ca. 5 große Wohnmobile plus mehrere Autos. Keine Einschränkungen. Keine Dienstleistungen. Wurf & Hundekotbehälter. Sauber. Nachts ruhig.

Espacio para alrededor de 5 grandes autocaravanas y varios coches. Sin restricciones. Sin servicio. Bote de basura y bote de basura para perros. Para hacer las tareas del hogar. Tranquilo por la noche.

monkeypops17/05/2025it's a nice spot. you cannot actually see the river from the raised level because of bushes. there's a pile of MacDonald rubbish in the grass beside my van. I will bag it later and leave beside the bin which is @ 20 metres away !!. well if people don't care about what they eat they're unlikely to care about the environment are they !!
keztherugger20/02/2023Lovely little spot with plenty of space. A bin on site but nothing else. Backs onto a lovely walking path along the river. Loads of walkers. A few late cars which didn't bother us. Walkers all very friendly indeed. Would definitely go back here again.

stayed overnight ( 17/02/23 ) ok for a walk along the river. was not busy. a few dog walkers came and went. no bother from anyone

A small level carpark opposite a cemetery. Quite noisy, as close to several roads. Quietened down about 1.30am. We were asked if we were there to meet up with someone, by a man in a car, who stayed there until midnight, just sitting in his car. Made us question what the carpark may be used for.

Stopped here for night was very quiet odd car going past, car park next to grave yard big enough for probably 6 vans very nice walk down river Trent will definitely come back here, has a bin for rubbish didn’t get bothered at all, was a Saturday night (there’s no toilet/electric/water) but couple of pubs in village less than 10 min walk from carpark
