Ignore the no camping signs as campers are more than welcome as long as you don't leave a mess. Been discussed in local groups and we love to welcome you.

Great spot but we saw no signs of no camping overnight. Went to the pub and had a great meal and a few drinks. Went back to the van and realised we were the only ones left....but toilets still open so stayed. Toilets clean and open all night. When we left by the south entrance the next day that's where the no camping sign is. Great spot with a fabulous pub but not sure they want us?

Beautiful spot with huge and stunning beach ,little pub/restaurant across the park who will deliver to moho’s/campers .there is however a no camping/overnight /picnic area sign which we missed on the way in and didn’t see until we’d had a drink .locals were pleasant enough

Perfect day & overnight stop on well tended grass overlooking a beautiful sandy bay. Toilets open all night, basic but clean. Lots of space, quiet & peaceful. Choose your spot so you’re not directly in front of any residential houses but they are a lot further back. We lined up to the lovely Tigh Na Mara restaurant where we booked a table for a tasty Sunday roast. Perfect!

Lovely quiet spot when we visited. Near by toilets old but clean. Local shop was closed when we arrived but Stranraer only 20 minutes away with a Lidl. Local pub really nice and locals we came across very friendly. Plenty of bins nearby.

Good spot for the day. Definitely signs saying no overnight camping. Toilets old but clean. Lots of bins. Newsagents well stocked, even with some basic groceries. Couldn’t see the fresh drinking water supply that is supposedly here. Signal on Three/SMARTY is good. A lovely clean, long, sandy beach (when the tide is out). Didn’t encounter any rude or speculating locals.

Lovely wee place but the locals don’t particularly love visitors much. And absolutely no over night stops. Lovely views out on the bay.

stunning beach with toilets pub and shop all a stones throw away met nice locals and a few narky ones too but overall if you be polite and leave it tidy then it thwarts their argument about us

superb little stop over, lovely views, toilets, shop, pub and the odd local local resident doing their citizens on patrol routine (I'm sure that they are patrolling and not trying to intimidate you into not parking there as they are over 102 ). be polite and courteous and leave nothing behind but smiles.

Playground and lovely beach just 20ft from parking area. A few picnic tables in parking area. You are parking in front of peoples houses so please be respectful. We got supplies in the corner shop then moved on, but couldn't see any signs forbidding overnight camping.

This is a great wee place, toilets are open all night, lovely peaceful area, well stocked shop and Tigh pub restaurant on hand. Children's play are and lovely sandy beach when the tide is out Local people were very friendly... But as ever please keep the place clean.

This is a lovely spot and there are toilets .. altho didn't use the toilet during the night so do not know if open in the night

You can no longer park overnight here. It’s good if you want a day by a beautiful beach though
