Est-ce un super petit endroit, surtout hors saison et lorsque vous vous arrêtez au bord de la rivière Kemijoki (six belles places de parking avec électricité). La place Savukoski n'est qu'à quelques 100 mètres. Il y a un supermarché là-bas. Il y a de l'électricité, des douches chaudes et une cheminée couverte, sur laquelle nous pourrions même cuisiner avec le bois de l'entrepôt (dans notre propre DutchOven). L'inscription et le paiement sont faciles - du moins en basse saison - à l'hôtel Samperin Savotta, à 300 mètres. Et si vous souhaitez pêcher (et acheter un permis ici en ville), les meilleurs spots de pêche le long des rives du Kemijoki sont décrits sur des panneaux d'affichage sur la place. Clairement : nous allons revenir ici !

Is that a great little place, especially in the off-season and when you stand down by the Kemijoki River (six beautiful parking spaces with electricity). The place Savukoski is only a few 100 meters away. There is a supermarket there. There is electricity, hot showers and a roofed fireplace, on which we could even cook great with the wood from the warehouse (in our own DutchOven). Registration and payment is easy - at least in the off-season - in the Samperin Savotta Hotel, 300m away. And if you would like to fish (and buy a license here in town), the best fishing spots along the banks of the Kemijoki are described on display boards on the square. Clearly: We’re going to be back here!

Ist das ein toller kleiner Platz, insbesondere in der Nebensaison und wenn man unten am Fluß Kemijoki steht (Sechs schöne Stellpätze mit Strom).
Der Ort Savukoski ist nur wenige 100 Meter entfernt. Dort gibt es einen Supermarkt.
Strom ist da, heiße Duschen und eine überdachte Feuerstelle, auf der wir mit dem Holz aus der Lagerhütte sogar prima kochen konnten (im eigenen DutchOven).
Die Anmeldung und die Bezahlung erfolgt - zumindest in der Nebensaison - im 300m entfernten Samperin Savotta Hotel ganz unproblematisch.
Und wer gerne Angeln möchte (und hier im Ort eine Lizenz dafür kauft), der bekommt auf Schautafeln auf dem Platz die besten Fischplätze entlang des Ufers des Kemijoki beschrieben. Ganz klar: Hier kommen wir wieder mal hin!
