(HS8 5TT) Camping de Kilbride

Booked via phone, asked for cash on arrival, £20 for one night me and my dog small camper no electric, the owner came round early evening to collect. Very easy to find, dated toilet/ shower block but showers included in cost so you have as long as you like. Sheltered from the very strong winds, over the road is a small beach or walk 1 mile north along the coastal path to Pollachar beach

30 plaatsen op gravel en stroom. Gedateerde toiletruimte maar redelijk schoon. Wij betaalde 28£ (camper, 2 personen en elektra). Boeken via internet werkt niet goed. We kregen geen reactie en na 2 dagen gebeld. Dat ging goed.

A good spot to refill/empty all clean with EHU/ Hot Showers washing machine £2.50 was really good and big.

booked by email and parked by family I was meeting who are tent campers. epic moody sunset so beautiful the pics where used for reference by an artist to make big canvases of Scottish landscapes. very close to eriskay. got WiFi at the cafe because phone signal patchy that end of the island

No reception so have to call and wait upon arrival. Lovely quiet campsite with adjoining cafe and opposite beautiful beach. Facilities dated and showing wear (e.g felt like shower was missing shower head). Close to Eriskay-Barra ferry so good for a quick stop off but not ideal for a longer stay

Ein toller kleiner Campingplatz, zwar an der Straße, die aber nicht um Geringsten stört. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Gegenüber (100 mtr) ist ein kleines Stück Karibik: toller Strand, klares Wasser. Für uns 6 von 5 Sternen. Top.

Lovely campsite right on the Hebridean way. Lovely beach just across the road (very quiet). Clean facilities with everything you could need. Friendly welcoming host and a lovely cafe on site.

Great little campsite on South Uist, open all year. The owner was very friendly and kind, reserved via email the day before with no issues. And extended by a night too. All facilities. A bit dated in places but clean. Location very quiet, small beach just across the road. Sheep and deer around so tick checks are worth it - the dogs picked up a couple but thankfully hadn’t latched on yet!

Nice campsite, friendly owner , laundry facilities available, waste and water EHU , open all year which is a godsend ! Toilets and showers clean and functional but a little tired and dated.

Auch in der Wintersaison geöffnet und damit die einzige Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen. Alle Einrichtungen (Dusche, Küche, WC, Waschmaschine, Trockner) super und sauber. Sehr netter Besitzer. Sehr schön gelegen am Meer.

Typical campsite, nice facilities, good showers. Relaxed owners / managers. Dog friendly. Only cash payment on site. The cafe next door is amazing - def recommend. Also has veggie options!

Sehr schöner Platz, nicht weit zum Strand, Duschen und Toiletten absolut sauber und Waschmaschine/Trockner bezahlbar, keine Wucherpreise. Es gab kurz Probleme mit WiFi, aber auch da wurde uns umgehend geholfen. Der Betreiber ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Bei der nächsten Hebriden Tour kommen wir wieder.

Schön gelegener Campingplatz mit großzügigen pitches. Sanitäranlagen sind sauber, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Frühstücken kann man im dazugehörigen Kilbride Café.

Localité assez proche de l’arrivée des ferries. Terrain herbeux plat. Bâtiment regroupant les sanitaires(3WC et 3 douches H et F) les éviers, propre et bien chauffé Frigo et bouilloire. Accueil sympathique

Great place to stay we had the place to ourselves as came out of season. I would imagine it is a very popular place in the summer & pre booking would be a definite. The toilets & showers were great. They also have a waste water drain & a water refill tap outside the toilet block. Lovely cafe on site too

Great site, everything you could need. Hot showers, toilets, washing up facilities and laundry available. Each pitch has a picnic table & electric hook up. The site was spotless owner very friendly. Bonus was that the site was open all year. Very quiet when we stopped but I imagine it is a busy site in the main season.

Loved it here. Only campsite open in Winter throughout these isles as far as I could tell. Very helpful lady who was supporting the owner in his absence. Great cafe on site too. Small beach over the road. Near to ferry from/to Barra and good pub - The Politician, where I had some delicious food.

Très bon camping. 20£ la nuit. Douches sans monnayeur !!! Emplacements bien délimités. Réservation conseillée ou appeler quand vous êtes sur place. Café ouvert le matin. Jolie plage à côté.

camping confortable, eau chaud , cuisine machine a laver sèche linge, belle vu sur la mer, emplacement avec beaucoup de vent, dommage car il manque une pièce de vie avec table et chaise, les tables sont dehors mais le climat ne permet pas d'y rester longtemps

Excellent site at unusually good price (£20 for moho 2 Inc EHU). Easy to access from coast road. Spacious pitches, some with little fences around. Rough tarmac/gravel, fairly level. All services and cheap cafe. Lovely beach just over road - could easily spend days here in decent weather. However, open to the sea, on a bad day the site is very exposed and gets battered by the never-ending wind.

Lovely site with great facilities. Nice small beach over the quiet road and to cap it off there is a cafe on site.

Stayed here 1 night. Great access to the beach with a lovely cafe on-site. Lovely showers and made use of the CDP / grey water disposal before we left. Even had clothes line on site.

Great wee Site although some pitches are better than others. Toilets and Facilities were spotless. The Beach is right across the road and although there is no WiFi you can use the Cafe’s.
