£7.20 for 12 hours means if you arrive at 9pm you have to leave at 9am or pay more. I arrived at 5pm which gave me a bit of a dilemma ticket wise so popped 500 yards down to the lay-by by Oundle Mill instead.

Fabulous place to stay overnight, just wished more places would adopt their thinking…. Empty car park at night so make some money. Peaceful night, toilets, fresh water. Lovely walks around the lakes. Lots of wildlife all for £7.20! What more could you want.
Very nice and quiet stay, on Easter Saturday night. No one else here once country park visitors left. I paid £7.20 for 12 hours parking. Toilets on site, no bins, take rubbish home. Phone signal ok. Nice dog walking place and play park for children. I didn’t see a water tap, but got water from up the road by the moorings at the locks. Toilets open by 8am.
Quiet place to stay overnight. Invisible from the road and toilets available. No waste bins. Payment required 7.20£ for 12 hours. Some music around 11 pm and at 6am people arrived to walk) . No remarks from parking officers as we had paid for the night.
