Fantastic view ! Plenty of room for 10 or more

Superb viewpoint park up for the night. Elevated position over the reservoir, level and very quiet overnight. Four other vans present. Bin available and some benches to sit on. Great EE signal. Please keep it clean and take litter home or bin it. Let’s not lose this amazing spot. Get here early for a good spot!

Rustige parkeerplek om te overnachten. Wij stonden er met 7 anderen. Je had geen last van elkaar, was gezellig. Midden in de nacht kwam er nog iemand aan, die maakte wat lawaai, maar verder erg rustig en een fantastisch uitzicht! Zeker een aanrader!

Mooie plek om te overnachten, rustig maar wel winderig. Prachtig uitzicht over het reservoir.

Lower carpark is fantastic, quiet, peacefully enjoying the sunset and cooking dinner as I write this, only two other over night vehicles here so far it's 20:35

llegamos por la noche y tuvimos suerte por qué quedaban plazas libres lo suficientemente grandes para una AC de +7 metros. Por la mañana pudimos disfrutar del maravilloso paisaje. La única pega que le saco es que no haya desagüe de aguas negras o grises ni toma de agua.

Amazing views, flat and quiet.

Un spot incroyable avec une vue magnifique, le coucher de soleil était superbe ce soir là. Très tranquille la nuit, aucun bruit de circulation. Merci vraiment de garder ce lieu propre pour qu'il puisse perdurer.

Absolutely gorgeous views, after another place I aimed for appeared unsuitable for my needs, this was a brilliant plan B, it is incredibly windy and grim at the moment, so it serves as a stable functional spot with a view. It became pretty busy though over night, about 8-10 vans & motorhomes, but no disruptions. Like others mentioned, please keep it tidy. I feel safe and grateful for this gem.

Absolutely gorgeous place to park up! We couldn't believe we could really park here over night so please please leave it tidy, take home rubbish so we can keep places like this!

We stayed here last night and woke up to a beautiful view! No parking signs and only 2 other vehicles parked. No amenities but worth the view. Felt safe and had 4g signal with 2/3 bars

Fantastic spot with breathtaking views over the lake. Nice and level. We just came for a lazy breakfast stop but wish we'd stayed overnight!

Beautiful views, slight slope. No amenities. Good signal on VF. I would have given this location higher than 3 starts if it wasn’t for the fact it was packed. 7 or 8 vans for the night when I was there. (There weren’t all there when I arrived and I would have moved on if I wasn’t so tired). I think this place could go if it’s ‘overused’ and no space for other people.

WOW the morning views!! Nice car park with 2 other campers, plenty of cars come to admire the stunning view & were friendly! Good signal only downside was bin overflowing with some left by side so please take rubbish elsewhere

Beautiful park up. Upper section says no overnight parking, but lower section (with the view) does not.

Missed the view in the evening due to fog, lovely view in the morning tho! Bit of road noise but nothing that woke us up. 3 other vehicles there. Highly recommend.

Lovely level car park overlooking the valleys and lake, the lay-by above says no overnight parking but this one didn’t have signage. Very exposed to elements so can get a little rocky in a van. Roads leading up to this viewpoint are very steep so mindful, but definitely come again

This place is perfect! There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking in the car park (owned by the water company) but there are in the small lay-by. Exposed - but that’s the price you pay for stunning views.

Excellent spot with great views, x3 other vans stayed the night with plenty of room left for others if required, we arrived at gone 8pm and left around 10am no facilities just a picnic bench

An absolutely breathtaking panaramic view and a relatively quiet night. A couple of vans arrived during the night and weren't particularly quiet about it, slamming doors and banging around. earplugs solved that though. Probably best to arrive later and leave earlier as it's a viewpoint it will likely get very busy, will come again after travels to Scotland though!

My favourite place to stay. The most Incredible views, a few other vans stayed overnight so felt very safe, a swim in the reservoir in the morning. Plenty of space available

Great spot spent one night in the snow! Sunrise and sunset both work from here. Un rivalled views across the lakes in the deep valleys below.

A few other vans up here which took the best views but for watching the sunset we would recommend camping down the bottom then coming up here for breakfast.

This is one of our favourite places to stop over when we visit Wales. We've stayed here 3 times. Would recommend to anyone ! Beautiful views, so peaceful. Sunset and Sunrise both amazing.

Amazing views from the car park. Level ground and plentyyy of space. A few picnic tables. Quite. Few other campers here for the night. Close to the road but no noise disturbance. Love this place!!

Easy access and a beautiful view!

Fabulous here, 5 other vans. Walk tomorrow I think. Sit out with a glass of something now and look for red kites.

The Postcode had us turn off a little early, but stick to the road and you’ll spot signs for the car park. No amenities, but stunning view & no restrictions on parking.

Outstanding. Level parking on tarmac with stunning views. The parking space is lower than the road and noise is not an issue. Hard to beat this one.

Wow is all I can say. We stayed here for one night on the Saturday night of the bank holiday weekend. It was busy with about 7 other vans, but was very quiet and peaceful with a fantastic view. Well worth a trip.

Great location 3 vans here, lots of visitors before dark but the weather was exceptional. Beautiful spot comparable anywhere on earth and it’s in our back yard.

Great view. was here on my own till another van turned up at 11pm. There were lots of people who came and parked even after dark and just sat in their cars, but they kept to themselves.

Wow the views are breathtaking! Stayed here last night! Very quiet and peaceful, had a few cars in and out of the car park but they were no bother at all. Didn’t hear or see anyone after 11pm. It was quite windy, but we did have a weather warning so was expected! Woke up to beautiful scenery, very peaceful and serene! Just above the car park there’s another little lay-by that you could also park in if needed. Definitely recommend!

Amazing view bit stressed by the ups and downs. Lot of work for the gearbox. Worth it though

Great views of the Reservoir, can be cooler as it is quite high with low cloud mist in the morning. Potential for ice and snow. 8 vans when we were there and would say that's the limit. Clean no rubbish, let's keep it that way or we will lose this great spot.

Great place to stay the night - level paved carpark with gorgeous reservoir views and picnic tables. A couple of other vans here overnight (Sept 2019) and a few cars appearing till around 12am.
