L'idée de Baobab Camp est née d'une simple réflexion.
Lors de nos voyages à travers l'Europe en camping-car, nous parlions souvent du genre d'endroit où nous espérions trouver après une longue journée sur la route.
Nous ne recherchions ni la foule, ni les animations, ni les campings bondés. Nous aspirions à la paix, à la nature, à un accueil chaleureux, à des installations propres et confortables, et à un lieu où nous pourrions vraiment nous reposer.
Cette simple idée a donné naissance à Baobab Camp.
Situé au cœur de l'Europe, à proximité du carrefour des principaux axes routiers du continent, Baobab Camp est une halte paisible pour les voyageurs se dirigeant vers le nord ou le sud, l'est ou l'ouest. Nombre de nos hôtes ne font qu'une halte avant de reprendre la route. Notre objectif est de leur offrir un lieu où ils peuvent ralentir le rythme, se ressourcer et se réveiller en pleine forme pour la suite de leur aventure.
Chacune de nos décisions a été guidée par une question simple :
« Serions-nous heureux d'arriver ici après une longue journée sur la route ? »
Dès le départ, ma femme avait une règle :
« Après une longue journée de voyage, je veux trouver une salle de bain propre et accueillante où je me sens à l'aise et en toute intimité. »
C'est pourquoi nous avons accordé une attention particulière à nos salles de bain. Nous souhaitions qu'elles soient non seulement impeccables, mais aussi confortables, paisibles et privées.
Cette même philosophie a guidé la conception de tout le reste au Baobab Camp : notre cuisine commune, le Wi-Fi rapide pour les télétravailleurs, le sauna au feu de bois, l'espace feu de camp et les emplacements spacieux pour campeurs, entourés par la nature.
Par-dessus tout, nous voulions préserver ce qui existait déjà : la forêt, la tranquillité et la sensation de pouvoir vraiment se déconnecter.
Bien que le Baobab Camp soit entouré de forêt et situé à environ un kilomètre de la route nationale 50, nous tenons à être totalement transparents avec nos hôtes. La plupart du temps, vous n'entendrez que le chant des oiseaux, le bruissement du vent dans les arbres et, parfois, le hululement du hibou la nuit. Cependant, selon la direction du vent, il est possible d'entendre le bruit de la circulation. Cela arrive rarement, mais nous préférons donner des attentes réalistes plutôt que de promettre ce que la nature ne nous permet pas toujours de contrôler.
Le Baobab Camp est volontairement petit et paisible. Ce n'est ni un complexe touristique ni un lieu de divertissement. C'est un endroit pour ceux qui aiment lire sous les arbres, écouter le chant des oiseaux plutôt que de la musique forte, partager une soirée tranquille autour du feu de camp et se réveiller au son de la forêt.
Afin de préserver cette atmosphère, le Baobab Camp est principalement conçu pour les personnes de 15 ans et plus. Les bébés et les jeunes enfants jusqu'à 2 ans sont bien sûr les bienvenus. Cette politique reflète simplement le caractère de notre camp et nous permet d'offrir le cadre paisible que nos hôtes recherchent.
Que vous voyagiez en couple, seul, entre amis, en camping-car ou à moto, ou que vous travailliez à distance tout en explorant l'Europe, nous espérons que vous vous sentirez comme chez vous.

Why We Created Baobab Camp
The idea for Baobab Camp came from a simple thought.
While travelling across Europe in our camper, we often talked about the kind of place we hoped to find after a long day on the road.
We weren’t looking for crowds, entertainment or busy holiday parks. We were looking for peace, nature, genuine hospitality, clean and comfortable facilities, and a place where we could truly rest.
That simple idea became Baobab Camp.
Located in the heart of Europe, close to the crossroads of the continent’s main travel routes, Baobab Camp is a peaceful stop for travellers heading north or south, east or west. Many of our guests stay with us for just one night before continuing their journey. Our goal is to give them a place where they can slow down, recharge and wake up refreshed for the next stage of their adventure.
Every decision we made was guided by one simple question:
“Would this make us happy if we arrived here after a long day on the road?”
From the very beginning, my wife had one rule:
“After a long day of travelling, I want to walk into a clean, welcoming bathroom where I feel comfortable and have my privacy.”
That is why we devoted so much attention to our bathrooms. We wanted them to be not only spotless, but also comfortable, peaceful and private.
The same philosophy shaped everything else at Baobab Camp – our shared kitchen, fast Wi-Fi for remote workers, the wood-fired sauna, the campfire area and spacious camper pitches surrounded by nature.
Above all, we wanted to preserve what was already here – the forest, the tranquillity and the feeling of being able to truly switch off.
Although Baobab Camp is surrounded by forest and located about one kilometre from National Road 50, we believe in being completely honest with our guests. Most of the time, the only sounds you will hear are birds singing, the wind in the trees and the occasional owl at night. However, depending on the wind direction, traffic noise from the road can sometimes be heard. It doesn’t happen often, but we’d rather set realistic expectations than promise something that nature doesn’t always allow us to control.
Baobab Camp is intentionally small and peaceful. It is not a holiday resort or an entertainment venue. It is a place for people who enjoy reading beneath the trees, listening to birds instead of loud music, sharing a quiet evening around the campfire and waking up to the sounds of the forest.
To help preserve this atmosphere, Baobab Camp is designed primarily for guests aged 15 and over. This policy simply reflects the character of our camp and helps us provide the peaceful environment that our guests choose us for.
Whether you are travelling as a couple, on your own, with friends, by campervan or motorcycle, or working remotely while exploring Europe, we hope you will feel at home here.

Warum wir Baobab Camp gegründet haben
Die Idee für Baobab Camp entstand aus einem einfachen Gedanken.
Während unserer Reise durch Europa mit dem Wohnmobil sprachen wir oft darüber, welchen Ort wir uns nach einem langen Tag auf der Straße wünschten.
Wir suchten keine Menschenmassen, keine Unterhaltung und keine überfüllten Campingplätze. Wir suchten Ruhe, Natur, herzliche Gastfreundschaft, saubere und komfortable Unterkünfte und einen Ort, an dem wir uns wirklich erholen konnten.
Aus dieser einfachen Idee wurde Baobab Camp.
Im Herzen Europas gelegen, nahe dem Schnittpunkt der wichtigsten Reiserouten des Kontinents, ist Baobab Camp ein friedlicher Zwischenstopp für Reisende, die nach Norden oder Süden, Osten oder Westen unterwegs sind. Viele unserer Gäste verbringen nur eine Nacht bei uns, bevor sie ihre Reise fortsetzen. Unser Ziel ist es, ihnen einen Ort zu bieten, an dem sie zur Ruhe kommen, neue Kraft tanken und erholt für den nächsten Abschnitt ihres Abenteuers aufwachen können.
Jede Entscheidung, die wir trafen, wurde von einer einfachen Frage geleitet:
„Wären wir glücklich, wenn wir nach einem langen Tag auf der Straße hier ankämen?“
Von Anfang an hatte meine Frau eine Regel:
„Nach einem langen Reisetag möchte ich in ein sauberes, einladendes Badezimmer kommen, in dem ich mich wohlfühle und meine Privatsphäre genießen kann.“
Deshalb haben wir unseren Badezimmern so viel Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet. Sie sollten nicht nur makellos sauber, sondern auch komfortabel, ruhig und privat sein.
Dieselbe Philosophie prägt alles andere im Baobab Camp – unsere Gemeinschaftsküche, das schnelle WLAN für Remote-Arbeiter, die holzbefeuerte Sauna, die Feuerstelle und die geräumigen Stellplätze inmitten der Natur.
Vor allem wollten wir das Bestehende bewahren – den Wald, die Ruhe und das Gefühl, wirklich abschalten zu können.
Obwohl das Baobab Camp von Wald umgeben und etwa einen Kilometer von der Nationalstraße 50 entfernt liegt, legen wir Wert auf absolute Ehrlichkeit gegenüber unseren Gästen. Meistens hören Sie nur Vogelgezwitscher, den Wind in den Bäumen und ab und zu eine Eule in der Nacht. Je nach Windrichtung kann jedoch manchmal der Verkehrslärm der Straße zu hören sein. Es kommt nicht oft vor, aber wir möchten lieber realistische Erwartungen wecken, als etwas zu versprechen, das die Natur uns nicht immer kontrollieren lässt.
Das Baobab Camp ist bewusst klein und ruhig. Es ist kein Ferienresort und kein Unterhaltungsort. Es ist ein Ort für Menschen, die gerne unter Bäumen lesen, Vögeln statt lauter Musik lauschen, einen ruhigen Abend am Lagerfeuer verbringen und vom Rauschen des Waldes geweckt werden möchten.
Um diese Atmosphäre zu bewahren, ist das Baobab Camp vorwiegend für Gäste ab 15 Jahren konzipiert. Babys und Kleinkinder bis 2 Jahre sind natürlich herzlich willkommen. Diese Regelung spiegelt den Charakter unseres Camps wider und hilft uns, die friedliche Umgebung zu bieten, die unsere Gäste schätzen.
Ob Sie als Paar, allein, mit Freunden, mit dem Wohnmobil oder Motorrad reisen oder beruflich unterwegs sind und gleichzeitig Europa erkunden – wir hoffen, dass Sie sich bei uns wie zu Hause fühlen.

Por qué creamos Baobab Camp
La idea de Baobab Camp surgió de un pensamiento sencillo.
Mientras viajábamos por Europa en nuestra autocaravana, a menudo hablábamos del tipo de lugar que nos gustaría encontrar después de un largo día de viaje.
No buscábamos multitudes, entretenimiento ni parques de vacaciones concurridos. Buscábamos paz, naturaleza, hospitalidad genuina, instalaciones limpias y cómodas, y un lugar donde pudiéramos descansar de verdad.
Esa sencilla idea se convirtió en Baobab Camp.
Ubicado en el corazón de Europa, cerca del cruce de las principales rutas de viaje del continente, Baobab Camp es una parada tranquila para viajeros que se dirigen al norte o al sur, al este o al oeste. Muchos de nuestros huéspedes se alojan con nosotros solo una noche antes de continuar su viaje. Nuestro objetivo es ofrecerles un lugar donde puedan bajar el ritmo, recargar energías y despertar renovados para la siguiente etapa de su aventura.
Cada decisión que tomamos se guió por una simple pregunta:
«¿Nos haría felices llegar aquí después de un largo día de viaje?»
Desde el principio, mi esposa tenía una regla:
«Después de un largo día de viaje, quiero entrar en un baño limpio y acogedor donde me sienta cómodo y tenga privacidad».
Por eso dedicamos tanta atención a nuestros baños. Queríamos que no solo estuvieran impecables, sino también cómodos, tranquilos y privados.
Esta misma filosofía inspiró todo en Baobab Camp: nuestra cocina compartida, el wifi de alta velocidad para quienes trabajan a distancia, la sauna de leña, la zona de fogatas y las amplias parcelas para campistas rodeadas de naturaleza.
Sobre todo, queríamos preservar lo que ya existía: el bosque, la tranquilidad y la sensación de poder desconectar por completo.
Aunque Baobab Camp está rodeado de bosque y se encuentra a aproximadamente un kilómetro de la Carretera Nacional 50, creemos en la honestidad con nuestros huéspedes. La mayor parte del tiempo, los únicos sonidos que escucharán son el canto de los pájaros, el viento entre los árboles y, ocasionalmente, el ulular de un búho por la noche. Sin embargo, dependiendo de la dirección del viento, a veces se puede oír el ruido del tráfico. No ocurre a menudo, pero preferimos establecer expectativas realistas a prometer algo que la naturaleza no siempre nos permite controlar.
Baobab Camp es intencionalmente pequeño y tranquilo. No es un complejo turístico ni un lugar de entretenimiento. Es un lugar para quienes disfrutan leyendo bajo los árboles, escuchando a los pájaros en lugar de música a todo volumen, compartiendo una velada tranquila alrededor de la fogata y despertando con los sonidos del bosque.
Para ayudar a preservar esta atmósfera, Baobab Camp está diseñado principalmente para huéspedes mayores de 15 años. Los bebés y niños pequeños de hasta 2 años son, por supuesto, bienvenidos. Esta política simplemente refleja el carácter de nuestro campamento y nos ayuda a brindar el ambiente tranquilo que nuestros huéspedes buscan.

L'idea di Baobab Camp è nata da un semplice pensiero.
Durante i nostri viaggi in camper attraverso l'Europa, parlavamo spesso del tipo di posto che avremmo voluto trovare dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio.
Non cercavamo folla, divertimenti o villaggi turistici affollati. Cercavamo pace, natura, genuina ospitalità, strutture pulite e confortevoli e un luogo dove poterci davvero riposare.
Da questa semplice idea è nato Baobab Camp.
Situato nel cuore dell'Europa, vicino al crocevia delle principali vie di comunicazione del continente, Baobab Camp è una sosta tranquilla per i viaggiatori diretti a nord o a sud, a est o a ovest. Molti dei nostri ospiti soggiornano da noi solo per una notte prima di proseguire il viaggio. Il nostro obiettivo è offrire loro un luogo dove poter rallentare, ricaricarsi e svegliarsi riposati per la prossima tappa della loro avventura.
Ogni decisione che abbiamo preso è stata guidata da una semplice domanda:
"Saremmo felici se arrivassimo qui dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio?"
Fin dall'inizio, mia moglie aveva una regola:
"Dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio, voglio entrare in un bagno pulito e accogliente, dove mi senta a mio agio e possa godere della mia privacy."
Ecco perché abbiamo dedicato tanta attenzione ai nostri bagni. Volevamo che non fossero solo impeccabili, ma anche confortevoli, tranquilli e riservati.
La stessa filosofia ha plasmato ogni altro aspetto del Baobab Camp: la cucina in comune, il Wi-Fi veloce per chi lavora da remoto, la sauna a legna, l'area per il falò e le spaziose piazzole per camper immerse nella natura.
Soprattutto, volevamo preservare ciò che già esisteva: la foresta, la tranquillità e la sensazione di potersi davvero disconnettere.
Sebbene il Baobab Camp sia immerso nella foresta e si trovi a circa un chilometro dalla Strada Statale 50, crediamo nell'essere completamente onesti con i nostri ospiti. Il più delle volte, gli unici suoni che sentirete saranno il canto degli uccelli, il vento tra gli alberi e, occasionalmente, il verso di un gufo di notte. Tuttavia, a seconda della direzione del vento, a volte si può sentire il rumore del traffico proveniente dalla strada. È un posto per chi ama leggere sotto gli alberi, ascoltare il canto degli uccelli invece della musica ad alto volume, trascorrere una serata tranquilla intorno al fuoco e svegliarsi con i suoni della foresta.
Per preservare questa atmosfera, il Baobab Camp è pensato principalmente per ospiti dai 15 anni in su. Neonati e bambini fino a 2 anni sono, ovviamente, i benvenuti. Questa politica riflette semplicemente il carattere del nostro campeggio e ci aiuta a offrire l'ambiente tranquillo che i nostri ospiti cercano in noi.

Waarom we Baobab Camp hebben opgericht
Het idee voor Baobab Camp ontstond vanuit een simpele gedachte.
Tijdens onze reizen door Europa met onze camper hadden we het vaak over de plek die we na een lange dag onderweg hoopten te vinden.
We zochten geen drukte, entertainment of overvolle vakantieparken. We zochten rust, natuur, oprechte gastvrijheid, schone en comfortabele faciliteiten en een plek waar we echt tot rust konden komen.
Dat simpele idee werd Baobab Camp.
Baobab Camp ligt in het hart van Europa, vlakbij het kruispunt van de belangrijkste reisroutes van het continent, en is een vredige tussenstop voor reizigers die naar het noorden, zuiden, oosten of westen reizen. Veel van onze gasten verblijven slechts één nacht bij ons voordat ze hun reis vervolgen. Ons doel is om hen een plek te bieden waar ze tot rust kunnen komen, nieuwe energie kunnen opdoen en fris wakker worden voor de volgende etappe van hun avontuur.
Elke beslissing die we namen, werd geleid door één simpele vraag:
"Zouden wij hier gelukkig van worden als we hier na een lange dag onderweg zouden aankomen?"
Vanaf het allereerste begin had mijn vrouw één regel:
"Na een lange reisdag wil ik een schone, uitnodigende badkamer binnenlopen waar ik me comfortabel voel en mijn privacy heb."
Daarom hebben we zoveel aandacht besteed aan onze badkamers. We wilden dat ze niet alleen brandschoon waren, maar ook comfortabel, rustig en privé.
Diezelfde filosofie vormde de basis voor alles in Baobab Camp – onze gedeelde keuken, snelle wifi voor remote workers, de houtgestookte sauna, de vuurplaats en de ruime kampeerplaatsen midden in de natuur.
Bovenal wilden we behouden wat er al was – het bos, de rust en het gevoel dat je echt even helemaal tot rust kunt komen.
Hoewel Baobab Camp omgeven is door bos en op ongeveer een kilometer van de nationale weg 50 ligt, geloven we in volledige eerlijkheid tegenover onze gasten. Meestal hoor je alleen vogelgezang, de wind in de bomen en af en toe een uil 's nachts. Afhankelijk van de windrichting kan het echter soms voorkomen dat je verkeerslawaai hoort. Het gebeurt niet vaak, maar we geven er de voorkeur aan realistische verwachtingen te scheppen in plaats van iets te beloven wat de natuur ons niet altijd laat controleren.
Baobab Camp is bewust klein en vredig. Het is geen vakantieoord of entertainmentlocatie. Het is een plek voor mensen die graag lezen onder de bomen, luisteren naar vogels in plaats van luide muziek, een rustige avond doorbrengen rond het kampvuur en wakker worden met de geluiden van het bos.
Om deze sfeer te behouden, is Baobab Camp primair bedoeld voor gasten van 15 jaar en ouder. Baby's en peuters tot 2 jaar zijn uiteraard van harte welkom. Dit beleid weerspiegelt simpelweg het karakter van ons kamp en helpt ons de vredige omgeving te bieden waarvoor onze gasten ons kiezen.
Of u nu reist als stel, alleen, met vrienden, met een camper of motor, of op afstand werkt terwijl u Europa verkent, we hopen dat u zich hier thuis zult voelen.

Przyjechaliśmy z żoną i psem na jedną noc. Było dokładnie jak w opisie. Przemili, pomocni I przyjacielscy gospodarze. Infrastruktura pełna, prysznic w cenie. Wszystko nowe, czyste i zadbane. Rewelacyjna sauna płatna. Pyszna włoska kawa z ekspresu w cenie. Dużo miejsca na kampera. Wokół las, łąka i mały staw. Cicho i spokojnie. Bez głośnej muzyki i imprezowania. Tylko dla dorosłych. Polecam.

Die kleine Sauna konnten wir für 1 Stunde buchen. Unser absoluter Favorit
Traumplatz !! Als wir ankamen, war niemand vor Ort, aber eine Telefonnummer am Tor. Dort angerufen kam der super nette Besitzer und zeigte uns den Platz. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Da das Wetter schlecht und kalt war, haben wir das Angebot der Sauna genutzt und konnten auch die Küche des Platzes nutzen. Alles nagelneu und sauber, herzlichen Dank für die Freundlichkeit an Monika & Bartosz
We stayed a night here and enjoyed the whole experience. The facilities were super clean and the owners friendly. Wood stove sauna for a small extra fee was superb with a small pond to cool down. Highly recommend!

Arrived late after day at Suntago with two kids. Owner answered promptly to inquiry and we arrived to this beautiful place (have to admit that road was a bit sketchy at least when dark).

Po dlouhé cestě jsme hledali klidné místo na odpočinek a Baobab Camp splnil všechna naše očekávání. Celý areál je nový, krásně upravený a perfektně čistý. Večer jsme si užili posezení u ohně v naprostém klidu. Majitelé jsou velmi milí, ochotní a je vidět, že jim na tomto místě opravdu záleží. Jedno z nejlepších míst, kde jsme byli. Určitě se sem rádi vrátíme.

В этом кемпинге вы найдёте уединение и спокойствие. Хозяева приятные и отзывчивые люди.

everything is brand new and the place is beautiful. there's a sauna, a club house where you can cook, enjoy a coffee or simply relax, an area for your grey and clean water and finally a little fire pit corner. the hosts are super kind and they go out of their way to help you. if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquility you must stop here!
Ein neuer Stellplatz mitten in der Natur. Wir waren die ersten Gäste und wurden herzlich von den Besitzern begrüßt. Es ist alles vor Ort was man braucht. Der direkt am Platz liegende Wald lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Die sanitären Einrichtungen und der Aufenthaltsraum sind super! Es gibt eine Sauna und eine überdachte Feuerstelle.
