masterhush02/09/2020A convenient stop off ( free at the minute due to COVID ) close to the Tesco and marks and Spencer’s - a 2 minute walk to some very clean toilets and a nice walk into town - the chip shop near the garage wasn’t great if honest so walk abit further into town if you fancy some

We have stayed here on a number of occasions whist visiting elderly relatives. The local train noise is apparent but last train is 22:00, the first train is 05:20 but a comfortable place to sleep. To walk into town you can follow the main road but more pleasant is to leave the back of the car park over the foot bridge turn left and walk through the park, a pleasant walk.
