(05240) La Salle-les-Alpes - Chemin de Fréjus

A nice walk up from town, on a ski slope so in theory nice and peaceful. No view (it’s in a clearing in the woods on the corner of one piste where it joins another). Pretty isolated, so make sure you like that thing. Main issue is that one of the tracks is a route up to a mountain top village, which we didn’t expect - usually these places only operate in winter. So there were 4x4s gunning it up the scrabbling track periodically through the nice, a couple at 3:30ish (Saturday night). So in reality, whilst it could be a cool place, without the view and with the disturbances, was pretty average. We did find a very nice flat spot on the side of the junction though.
