I had the place to myself on a Sunday eve until 9:30pm when a group of kids show up in cars to honk their horns and blast music at full volume for half an hour straight. I thought it best to find a more peaceful location. It’s hard to tell if it’s locals not wanting vans there or kids being kids.
Quiet night at The Cut. No other vans, a few cars in the evening with dog walkers and a few cyclists but none any bother. A couple of picnic tables and benches to enjoy the view down to the valley. Clean and level. Approach road is typically narrow but the added hazard of logging trucks but reasonably frequent passing places.
Belle place, emplacement plat et accessible en camping-car 8m par 3m. Attention cependant la route d'accès est très étroite. Avec notre camping-car impossible de croiser quelqu'un. Soyez prudent et respectueux, il s'agit d'un parc naturel
Belle place en pleine nature. Terrain plat sur gravier. Nous nous sommes écartés de la route qui est peu passante. Balade à partir du parking en aller/retour. Pas de service juste la nature et le silence. En hauteur, le parking offre une vue sur le massif de Slieve Bloom et les 2 plaines.
Très belle vue, nuit calme malgré la présence le soir de voitures.
Very quite and peaceful all day night,level ground and some nice walks near by,lots of flies and midgets so be prepared,the road up to it is narrow.
Beautiful valley views, leveled, calm in the windy weather. Nice walks along the forest roads. We spent Saturday and Sunday night here - just a couple of cars during the day and very quiet at night.
Good gravel parking places, a couple of picnic tables. Great views across the valley. Very little traffic overnight. very peaceful nights sleep.

Road up is narrow and steep but my 4 berth made it. Keep an eye on pull in spots. The view is amazing, make sure your hand break is on!!! The stars are wonderful on a clear night, no light pollution. Fairly level, enough to sleep. Not busy at night, maybe a few lovebirds. Walks available but could be wet under foot. Off the beaten track so it a winner for me.
Stayed here on a week night. There was one other camper van but at least room for about 8. There were a few late evening cars parked up till approx 9 then very quiet. Lovely views over the valley.
Amazing view waking up in the midst of the slieve bloom mountains.. Walking trails nearby. Did not see any services, so would be best to have a self sustainable campervan if you are parking here overnight.
Stayed last night, very peaceful nights sleep, woke only to beautiful bird song, heard a cuckoo in the woods also.
The view is spectacular. Busy on the weekend in the morning, but very quiet in the evening time. The parking is spacious and quite flat and even.
